The location next to the ocean is superb, the house is older but clean and well kept, the price is very reasonable, the staff leave you to your privacy and booking couldn't have been easier. This is my second time at the beach house and I highly recommend staying at this quiet, clean resort.

The location is beautiful but hard to get down to the beach if your limited mobility or have young kids/toddlers. Great view. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Nice garden too.

It was dirty. The floors were dirty, the bed linens were dirty and there was a spider web at entrance. No ability to gain access to property without calling to let us in. Very strange property. Not really a hotel.

I still have not got a receipt for my bill and the room was very dark , I couldn’t even see in the bathroom.. half the sliding doors looking out at the ocean we’re not able to see through .
I seriously need my receipt emailed to me .

Ocean resort has beautiful grounds designed for small group or individual retreats. The cabin on the beach has a massive deck and large functional rooms. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen. Perfect for cooking healthy meals. There are golf courses, beaches, hiking trails via a short drive. Oyster Bay is a nice place for a quiet weekend getaway.
Oyster Bay is a nice place for a quiet weekend getaway. However there are very few restaurants in the area. We found only a Chinese restaurant 'Driftwood' which was good enough for meals.

This seaside hotel is humble yet classy, way nicer than anything else in comox or campbell river at this price range. Rooms feel fresh and spotless, plenty of positives to this place. You can tell they are health conscious with filtered water available, good quality soap and shampoo in a dispenser. The bedding doesn't smell of scented cleaners. Really worth the short drive out of town if you're visiting CR or the valley.

Right on the beach, lots of green space outside....but the rooms are back to back, you can hear normal conversation through the walls, I cant imagine if someone was playing music, speaking louder etc. No sound insulation at all it seems. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable But this is not a place if you are looking for some peace and quiet in your room.
