This is a terrific new little hotel in Thulusdhoo. Donna and her husband were fantastic and went out of their way to facilitate me and my requests - even though I booked at the last minute. It has a lovely little courtyard for breakfast and nice simple styling on my room which had its own little verandah facing out to the street. Rooms were very soundproofed and super cool in the hot climate. Note the hotel is changing its name soon to Akira I think. Thulusdhoo is a magic little island - not overdeveloped and very chill. Staying a bit back from the beach was nice for me. I stayed at another hotel on the island and this one was hands down the best.

The location is very strategic to enjoy the beach, the main surf spot (Cokes), local restaurants, boats for sightseeing. Probably the most strategic. The property is right in front of the beach. Bedrooms are provided of everything thing you need to have a relaxing stay. The porch with sofa, the water, tea and coffee always available are an assets as the outdoor shower. Ikram the host is an angel! Always available to support and find great solution to let you enjoy your stay. Breakfast is very tasty and hand made. Try the Maldivian breakfast at least ones. Ikram arranged for us also a super dinner with local fish. Delicious.

I had the perfect stay! It was like a second home and I was a member of the family! Everything you need in one location and the property is beautiful! Ahmed was totally reachable before, during and after my stay. They arranged for me and my gear to be picked up and dropped off at the ferry. They gave me an early checkin and let me stay late so I was comfortable from start to finish. Faheem made a delicious breakfast whenever I texted him so I could eat either eat before going out diving or after a surf. The rooms were immaculate with cozy beds and AC and bathrooms with a shower stall instead of spraying water everywhere. Access to the full kitchen anytime with lots of friendly guests to meet. They really thought of everything. I couldn't have asked for more! Thank you Eden Blue I'll see you next time!!
