It is easy to walk around the Island.

It is easy to walk around the Island. In ecvening we made 2 /3 circles around Gulhi Island and afterwards we tested all restaurants and the best was LAVISTA Cafe & bistro. They have a tasty food. There we had the best Tuna Steak in Gulhi.

Super friendly, safe, clean, quiet and with plenty of activities to choose from during the day. Restaurants with different types of cuisines available and the food is really good. And great coffee. Both beaches are absolutely stunning. Baby sharks and other marine life are always visible from shore when walking around the island.

A very welcoming island and with such friendly locals.

A very welcoming island and with such friendly locals. It is a small island which is not that far from Male city or the airport by speedboat. There are some small restaurants and cafes that visitors can have snacks, drinks, tea and coffee. There are also many shops that sell everything visitors might need. Souvenir shops are also there and there are many items that can be bought at good prices. Cultural events are also there depending on the season and the occasions .

Gulhi island is perfect for tourists on budget.

Gulhi island is perfect for tourists on budget. We didn’t limit ourselves, we went on a couple of boat trips (which cost about 35-70$ per person) and bought whatever we needed (every meal was around 22$-36$), transfers cost around 25-35$ on a speed boat and 2$ on a public transport. All the restaurants, hotels and some shops accept dollars. The only disadvantage of the island, in my opinion, is that especially during low tide, the water in the ocean is knee-deep. Regardless of that the bikini beach is very clean and the corals are beautiful. Also I would suggest bringing fins with you because sometimes the current was really strong and renting them costs 5$.

    Nice & cozy small island.

Nice & cozy small island. You can find local & western food over here & they are serving nice coffee over here. Friendly locals is making you feel welcome to the Island. Walking at the beach and swimming in the sea is the 2 common activities over there. Lying on the beach chair & watching sun set is really enjoyable.

THE STAFF IN HOTEL WAS GOOD. BUT THE SPEED FERRY COSTS 25$ PER HEAD ONE WAY FROM MALE TO GULHI. SO I PAID $100 FOR THE TRANSPORT. WE STAYED HERE AS PER THE RESERVATION AND NOW I GOT MAIL FROM BOOKING.COM AS NO SHOW INFORMED BY THE HOTEL. THIS IS JUST SCAM FROM THE HOTEL SIDE. VERY DISAPPOINTED. AFTER PAYING 25$ EACH FOR MY DAD AND MYSELF, WE HAD VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT THE FERRY, WE WANTED TO REDUCE THE MUSIC VOLUME WHICH THEY MEET OUR EXPECTATION. WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND FOR SUCH ACT.

The hotel is run by local guys. They go above and beyond to make sure you're enjoying your stay, and they provide a delicious Maldivian breakfast. Gulhi is a pretty small island. There was a lot of construction work going on during my stay. The hotel accommodation is quite simple but offers a short walking distance to the 'bikini beach' where water sports are available for a price. The WIFI works well near the lobby area for those thinking about doing some work in paradise. Thanks for the stay!

Everything here was what I envisaged Maldives to be and more! Supratik and his team did a stellar job to make our first overseas trip post pandemic as magical as possible. He managed to bring our dates forward to suit the hotel covid policies and extend our stay by another night at the same rate so that we can have more time in paradise. Thank you Supratik and your wonderful team for making this a dream come true for our family. We already miss Dhigu

This is a great place to stay in Gulhi! It's conveniently located, it has great amenities, it has its own restaurant with delicious local food, and the best of it all was the staff who were extremely kind and helpful with any kind of local questions we had. They even let us use their printer and extended our stay until late afternoon for free! I can't recommend this place enough! And Gulhi is gorgeous!

Included breakfast and lunch were nice - especially the no-alcohol mojito with lunch! The bed was very comfortable and the air con worked really well. The towels were great, for the bathroom and extras for the beach. Gulhi is very small. The beach is beautiful. There are enough restaurants to try. It is a quiet place, so bring books and relax in a swing!

The first reason we chose this hotel was its proximity to the water park. Although the water park was closed, we are completely satisfied with the hotel. Great and friendly staff, clean room, best location, and excellent services. What we liked most was the trip to Fullidhoo which was arranged by the hotel. This was an unforgattable experience.

It was a wonderful experience to be a customer of tropic tree hotel. The level of employee involvement was at a very high level, especially Mr. Sohel and Mr. Rohitha. Thanks to Mr. Sohel, we went on a private boat trip for a very favorable price. We highly recommend this hotel! We hope to come back!
