Lots of space and with a little balcony. Nice and quite location, ideal for a longer stay. Located right above a popular restaurant frequented by locals. Well stocked supermarket 5 min uphill. Nice uncrowded beach 50 meters away. Short car ride to Garachico, Icod de los Vinos, Punta del Teno ,Teno National Park. Definitively my accommodation of choice for future visits to the island.

The positives is it was a small local town and it was attractive. It had plenty of restaurants and ice cream bars for a different place each night. Food was reasonably priced although quality was variable.
The downside was you had to drive from there to most places and some of the roads were very bendy so often meant we were driving for long periods of time. Tip - I wouldn't recommend the step windy road to get into the town but drive the 1.5 km further to use a better road.

A beautiful, historic town with lots to see.
A beautiful, historic town with lots to see. The restaurants and cafes offer a vast array of delicious food and excellent affordable local wine. The sea pools weren’t open as we were there early in the season. The local shops have an interesting array of local and artisan products. Well worth a visit, just takes a little time to get there.

Nice little town with many restaurants and bars.
Nice little town with many restaurants and bars. Opening hours were a little sporadic and what was open one day was closed the next so fun walking around looking to see what was available.
The town is a charming Canarian town with lots of interesting streets and areas to explore. Some areas are a little run down and there are many empty buildings but the town retains a a lot of character and life.
This is a predominantly a Spanish town so no mass tourism.
You get a lot of day trippers so the streets, bars and coast can appear very busy at peak times but outside of this it is still possible to find the quiet and the genuine atmosphere that you have probably come here to look for.

We loved Garachico, authentic Caranian houses built on hilly cobbled streets , a good choice of restaurants although we found them to be very expensive . The coastline is truly fabulous with rocky lava surrounding Garachico's coastline We were looking forward to swimming in the natural pools which were closed due to the rough sea waters. This was understandable, but there was no reason for the Lido pool to be closed as well . The natural pools and Lido are open for 3 months from July to September

One of the most authentic villages in Tenerife, with real local inhabitants, some traditional celebrations that you can witness in the streets.
Most of the small streets are pedestrian or with very few cars.
It also has a small and nice beach in the village.
The local people are very friendly.
The temperature is more mild than on the Southern coast of the island.
I took the vending machine card by mistake form the hotel, they asked me to provide my credit card details or send the card back, I thought it was odd to ask for my card information so I suggested I transfer the money to their account, was surprised to find they withdrew money from my card. we didn’t agree on that and if they had it already why would they ask for it on the first place.
Great location (I was lucky to get a room with an ocean view), great customer service, the manager was very helpful to accommodate for an early check in, provided recommendations for restaurants, answered all my questions quickly, and even provided a ride to the airport early in the morning at a price cheaper than a local taxi.
Spectacular room that was nicely decorated and with comfy bed. We stayed in Suite 1 towards the (quiet) street, a huge room with 6-7 m ceiling height. Breakfast is great and served in the atrium of the house (also houses a patisserie during the days). Garachico is a very nice little town with great restaurants and surroundings.
The hotel is gorgeous and centrally located, the main patio is a great place to enjoy a late afternoon drink.
Breakfast had a decent range of options and our dinner was great.
Every single staff member we talked to was friendly and helpful and remembered our personal preferences even if we were only there for two nights.
The place was large, comfortable, with everything you need to stay a few days exploring Garachico and its surroundings. The apartment was spotless, and on top of it there was mineral water and a bottle of wine waiting, plus a little treat. The staff was excellent. Really nice place!
The feeling of comfortable silence. The rustic rural atmosphere of the hotel was very enjoyable.
The location is good for touring.
The staff were ALL female and had excellent attitudes, extremely helpful, always smiling and ready to share experiences and details about Tenerife.
Garachico is very nice place. Access to the accomodation Is very good, good location with big parking place for free (not on the street in front off the building), quiet. Big appartment with all you need for your stay - our 7 days. Shop nearby, lots of restaurants, bars.
Brilliant - Fantastic location, great house and large. Great value and we had the perfect 10 nights. Booking again soon for relatives. We felt the house was better than the hotel in the centre that we cancelled. The Host was bubbly and could not do enough for you. 10/10.
The location is excellent. It is a very unique casa. Very clean. Close to bus stop. Excellent communication with staff. Close to the square and great restaurants. Also close to the natural pools (although they were. it open! Close to great hiking trials. Muy authentico!
The location was fantastic, in a quiet road, in the centre of Garachico. The apartment was comfortable and exceptionally well-equipped. It is well situated for hiking in the Teno mountains and for exploring the north coast of the island.
Nice, quiet apartment in a great location, walking distance to everything in Garachico. Very clean apartment. We parked in the Old football field parking lot, which was free and convenient. We can recommend this place.
We liked everything about La Quinta Roja. From its location to breakfast, to their staff's incredible service, every detail was top notch. We have traveled extensively and this hotel is one of our all-time favorites!
- Very clean and nicely furnished apartment, located right in the heart of charming Garachico;
- Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen;
- The welcome fruit basket was a pleasant surprise - thank you!
The views from the rooftop deck were unsurpassed. Location was great within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. The kitchen was well appointed and living area was comfortable.
The location was the best one but f the most beautiful towns and location was center for all the places we were visiting and the house was perf ct and the restaurants were excellent
Small little things you can meet everywhere in the house. This unbelievable ocean view from the terrace. Small distance to Garachico and Icod - 2 km to each place
