The room was really nice and clean, plenty room for a one nights stay , bathroom was really nice , shower had plenty space and you didn't feel like a sardine crammed in a tiny space like some showers. The facilities were excellent with the game room now being downstairs you can play games without knocking into things behind you . All rooms are currently being upgraded and they are doing a wonderful job of upgrading , rooms look so fresher and not so outdated like they were before.

FAQs about hotels in Blackpool

Beside the Seaside, Beside the Sea

A favoured holiday spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.

On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!

More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognisable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modelled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.

A popular stag and hen do destination, Blackpool offers accommodation ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.

walked along the Promenade , was nice and clean(no doggy doo). Even though it was raining it was pleasant enough walk, crossed road and went into a few arcades , had some fun and found a nice quirky café in the top of one arcade(Blackpool amusement's) which was lovely and cheap. lots of the shop fronts were still closed and this was around 10am , most don't open till around 11am ish . overall , its a nice place to visit.

    Pine lodge hotel was disgusting!

Pine lodge hotel was disgusting! Wallpaper peeling off walls, condensation on windows, hairs in the beds, the bedding was dirty, floors were dirty. I paid for two nights but l left the next day as I was unable to sleep, I booked via booking .com. Based on my experience, NO l would not recommend Blackpool, Pine lodge hotel or booking.com who displayed false images of the hotel including a dining room which this hotel didn't have, it also doesn't seem to have a complaints dept!

We really enjoyed the Blackpool Dungeons and the experience was truly amazing. The beach was lovely and we really enjoyed taking daily walks up and down it. They was high winds while we was there but we never allowed it to stop us, we wrapped up and made the most of the time we had in Blackpool.

Bedding was so clean and soft also, Staff were so friendly and helpful. even gave us a free upgrade to a room more suited to my needs. plenty of toiletries and towels available. out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in blackpool this will be the one we will return too simply for comfort, location, friendly staff and easy booking in process. The owners were welcoming, hospitable and friendly. The hotel had a really pleasant vibe and was very well presented comparable to the price. Our room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel and the breakfast was lovely. Usually i would have offered recommendations but for the price it was everything i had expected and more. Parking was a bit of a joint effort due to limited space but fortunately the location is a 5 minute walk to the trams on the seafront from which you can access all of Blackpool.

The proximity to the beach and main entertainment venues of Blackpool - only a short walk from Blackpool Tower and the seafront. Excellent full English breakfast. Friendly bar and staff. Limited free parking in front of the hotel. Struggled to find parking near hotel on New Year’s Eve, but managed to find parking at Caunce Street/Church Street Car Park, Cookson St, (Open 24 hours) The next day I managed to find a spot in the car park adjacent to the hotel, which was a bonus!

This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms were cozy but had everything we needed and everything was spotlessly clean. Location is great, on the North Shore and away from the noise but with Blackpool’s main attractions easily accessible. The breakfast was fantastic and they were so accommodating. The best part of this hotel is the family who run it - they are so lovely, nothing is too much trouble and they immediately make you feel welcome. This is a Blackpool gem!

Good location. New staff had started similar time to our stay. They cooked breakfast and it was good. WiFi worked once we got a new details from host as details showing in room did not work. Table/ seats outside hotel, this was good to just sit with a drink and relax away from the packed Blackpool seafront. Price was cheap for 3 day’s so didn’t expect perfection. Staff were all pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.

Second time I’ve stayed in this hotel, absolutely amazing and friendly staff. Bar is pretty decent priced too also. Location is okay, if your staying south shore but if wanting north it’s about 10-15 walk to tower. Basic small rooms,( twin) but that’s all I wanted as literally just went to hotel to sleep as was always out. Very very good for groups, or if you wanting a piss up in Blackpool
