There is nothing in Waco.
There is nothing in Waco. You can visit the Chip and Joanne things but cannot afford anything. You can visit the shops downtown and still cannot afford anything. Prices are too high and not much to do or see. Would not recommend going to Waco.

We started our day with a couple hours at the Cameron Park Zoo and ended with a tour of the Dr. Pepper Museum. Both were great values for our budget and also very interesting. Little kids probably wouldn't love the Dr. Pepper Museum, but it was toddler time at the zoo.

Very interesting place with much to see.
Very interesting place with much to see. The Dr Pepper and the Texas Ranger museums were really interesting. Of course the Magnolia area was great also. Taking a tour of the city gives you loads of information. Very enjoyable.

We went to visit Magnolia and that is what we got.
We went to visit Magnolia and that is what we got. We did all things Magnolia, found an awesome church to go to on Sunday and even went to the Dr. Pepper museum. We had a great time and everything we did was within 3-5 miles of our hotel!

We were visiting Thursday-Sunday primarily for a Baylor...
We were visiting Thursday-Sunday primarily for a Baylor Athletic Event. Friday we had breakfast reservations at Magnolia Table (EXCELLENT!), note: they do not take Saturday reservations and are closed Sundays. We ate in the dining room Friday and got takeaway on Saturday. Spent Friday at the Silos, a wonderful day for all ages. Thoughtfully designed with unique shopping and food options. We paid to park in a lot next door but there was lots of street parking a bit farther for free. Spent time in all stores and loved Jimmy Don's metal shop across the street from the Silos across from the Church end of the Silos. Magnolia Bakery and First Press coffee shop were well worth the visit. We ate dinner at Rudy's (just ok) for BBQ and George's a second night (great bar, pub fare affordable and delish drinks and food, eat in the bar area or outdoor seating, lots of action to see going on all around). Saturday toured the area a bit, saw Cottonwood Castle, and visited Spice Market boutiques...great rainy day activity (it was perfect weather but I felt a bit bad being indoors) tons of vendors, and interesting stuff. Toured and saw a sporting event at Baylor, a great time, a nice campus, a beautiful bookstore. Lots of AirBnbs and VRBOs are available in the area, many are former Fixer Upper homes of Chip and Joanna's...would not stay in a hotel next time, too many cooler options. The negative about Waco: SO many highways, big and small, kind of crazy short and speedy merging requirements, lots of fast drivers in big 'ol trucks.
Dianna at the front desk went above and beyond to answer questions and clarify directions as I-35 was under construction. However, the hotel was in an excellent location to all things Waco ( Magnolia Silos, Baylor University, downtown etc). At a different time a very professional & friendly gentleman was working the desk & helped out with linens. I can't remember his name. The beds were comfy, the room nice & clean. We would not hesitate to stay there in the future.
This place is truly wonderful!!!!! I am actually staying here as I write this review. CLEAN! BEAUTIFUL! BRIGHT! NEW! OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM! I can not say enough good things about our stay here. I am super picky when it comes to hotels and this place has exceeded my expectations. I could live here! I highly recommend if you are staying in Waco.
What a awesome hotel for our stay in Waco. We are a little bit sad, we couldn't stay longer, because of our travelling plan. The room was huge, clean and we had a coffee maker. The breakfast was very good, even for spoiled europeans with continental breakfast.
The service was so awesome and we could feel everybody loves their job.
Waco house is by far the cleanest place (besides our own home), including most hotels that we have ever stayed in!! The decor was cute and very on trend. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. We liked that we didn’t have to park on the street. We would consider booking here again if we come to Waco.
I liked the friendliness of the staff. Whatever time of day (we left at 3:00 am) the staff was attentive and very hospitable. The rooms were cleaned and up to date. We did need to request room cleaning, I'm not used to that but I guess different customs for different times.
Clean and new! Super quiet rooms. On first floor near lobby with bar and never heard any noise coming from that area. never heard the people next to or above me either! I’ve stayed at luxury hotels and never experienced this! Also it is close to the Magnolia properties.
Nice boutique hotel located directly by the Magnolia Silos and within walking distance to downtown. The rooms are quite large with a small seating area and a desk. There is a restaurant and brewery on the property with good food. Parking is included with the stay.
The breakfast was great every morning, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were very nice.
This seems like more of a business class hotel, and it's perfect for that. When we weren't going to area attractions, we were comfortable staying in our room.
The hotel was nice. The receptionist was very friendly, even let us check in 2 hours early. We were driving through Waco and wanted to relax after a long drive . Our room itself was very pretty. We were actually blown away with the space in there.
The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Great location,The rooms was fantastic and everything at your fingertips,Breakfast excellent. Definitely will be back again.
I enjoyed how spacious the king size bed and room were all together. The bathroom and shower were clean and had extra things I needed that night for a nice shower.
