Manchester is wonderfull.
Manchester is wonderfull. I spoke to a local his name was Bert , he commutes from Stockport, I think he was a football fan as he was dressed from head to toe in his teams outfit , cap, big coat and a pair of boots i`d not seen since my teens think they were called Kickers,
He was very engaging and told me all about his massive club, He has not missed a game sine he began watching them in 2011.

Staggering changes since we lived there a decade ago.
Staggering changes since we lived there a decade ago. The Quays area hasn’t quite come together yet and it is curiously compelling the way they have linked housing in with the larger projects. It is bound to end up beautiful when Man U start their developments!
To top it all J Cooper Clarke and his supports brought the glorious Lyric Theatre to life. A great stay all round. Thank you, Manchester!

For those who enjoy the experience of seeing scantilly clad...
For those who enjoy the experience of seeing scantilly clad women staggering around drunk and fighting .. for the discerning traveller who delights in stepping over rough sleepers in shop doorways and trudging through discarded half eaten burgers and vomit..For the visitor who delights in being accosted for money or cigarettes by hunched over ,bedraggled strangers and who appreciates the heady smell of urine and cannabis in the streets.. Manchester is for you and will not dissapoint.

Me and my partner absolutely love visiting Manchester.
Me and my partner absolutely love visiting Manchester. So much to do, great places to eat and drink… We come to see Nick Mulvey play at The Albert Hall on this occasion and the hotel is in a great location, local to everywhere with a short walk.
The hotel is great! All Hampton by Hilton hotels have very high standards of food, service and comfort, so you will not do a mistake by choosing them where ever they have hotel.
The Manchester Hampton by Hilton is great, 15 min walk from city center, but if you don't want to walk, there is a bus station right across the hotel. The breakfast is great, especially the English breakfast :)
I sincerely recommend it to anyone who goes to visit Manchester.
Really close to the public transport systems (two tram stops 2 minutes walk) which can be in city centre in 20 minutes - we’ll linked with routes to Old Trafford (both), Etihad, Piccadilly and Airport. I went for a Manchester City match which ended at 21:55 and was I back in the hotel on the other side of the city by 22:25. The tram system is brilliant to get around the whole city. Day pass about £5.
The hotel receptionist at the time (I think he was called Adam) was absolutely amazing. He gave us some amazing advice on how best to get to Manchester city centre and which part of the Christmas market to aim for.
The spa was amazing, and just what we needed for the short break.
The room was small, but catered to our needs as the bed was extremely comfortable.
Would highly recommend staying here.
Really friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and the room was clean and spacious. Close to the city centre. We went to Manchester to visit my sister in law and the kids and it was our first time at Clayton! Absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed in!
We really had a lovely stay and we’ll be back soon for sure!
Thank you.
The rooms - great 4 star apart hotels with facilities to cook and live like home.
The work space downstairs is 24/7 and always full of life with a lively vibe.
Whats app chat with reception was great , they helped with a minor accident very professionally.
NCP parking Manchester palace nearby ( I could see my car from the room )
We went to a gig at the 02 in Manchester so we needed somewhere to stay this was excellent we was upset in wasn't in the heart of the city centre but it worked to our advantage as it nearer the 02 academy no pubs near the hotel but again as it was comfy we went to the shop and had a drink in the room
Let's start with the check in l. It was fast and the receptionist was professional. The location of the hotel was a walking distance from the shopping mall. The room was clean and spacious. The check out proses was fast as well.

I had a pleasant one-night stay at the ibis Styles Manchester Portland. The hotel is in a great location - a short walk from both Piccadilly station an the Northern Quarter. Check in was fast and easy, and my room was large.
Location was very central, easy to walk every where in Manchester city centre, close to bars, restaurants and shops. Good public transport links and close to train station. Quiet hotel, no noise at night so slept well.
Affordable hotel with breakfast just like the other Holiday Inns all over the main cities in the UK. It's a bit far from downtown Manchester, but there is a bus station nearby. McDonald's and a park nearby too.
Fantastic hotel, probably the best centrally located hotel in the city centre.
Close to everything bars, restaurants and shops.
Staff can't do enough for you and everything is done professionally.
Really like the hotel, the location is near to Manchester Picadilly train station and chinatown.. the room is clean, the bathroom is clean, not a big problem to get breakfast outside of the hotel
A great hotel, just what you need for a weekend break to Manchester. Location is perfect for exploring the city centre and within walking distance from many great bars and restaurants.
