Bartley is a lovely peaceful place set in the new forest with horses and cows that can roam free and to see deers and there fawns if you are lucky a local shop and post office we ate in the Haywaire The food wasn't great so I wouldn't recommend it close to lyndhurst shops and Bartley is great to walk around and to explore and take in the breath taken views
A very nice hotel on the edge the forrest I could walk my dog out of the garden into the forrest, with all the wild life
deer and horses close by, the dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly also the
room was very clean and a lovely on-suite shower and tiolet, the room looked like it had ont long been decorated
The hotel is in a nice setting and has potential. Room was Ok although my mothers room was very cold (the word she used was "arctic"). When we asked about the heating which only came on at 8am (seems very late) she was offered a small electric heater. I also heard other guests mention their heating was not on in their room.
The hotel is in a lovely location and in easy walk of the new forest. Being a dog friendly hotel was such a great bonus as we could bring our dog to dinner and then take a walk through the gardens into the forest.
Amazing location onward the New Forest, beautiful area. The hotel staff were lovely, we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner and they were all superb. The room was a great size and the bed was comfy

A very comfortable bed, in a clean, spacious room.

The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a rural location and was very peaceful - no traffic noise.
Love it because it's a dog friendly hotel. Vegan breakfast was superb. Love hearing the owls at night in the woods. Doorstep walking straight into the New Forest
