Situated in the heart of the tranquil town of Marazion, the family-run Glenleigh House overlooks the picturesque St. Michael’s Mount and Mounts Bay.

Great location for St Michael's Mount. Helpful owner who gave a great recommendation for dinner and information on tide times. Off street parking was a find here. Lovely breakfast that set us up for the day. Thank you for looking after two traveling Kiwis. As we say here, tu meke.
Chyreen@marazion is located in Marazion, less than 1 km from Marazion Beach, 1.7 km from St Michael's Mount, and 21 km from Minack Theatre.

Pretty much everything. We had the Loft Room. Modern decor. Sea view from side window. Balcony looking north across horse field with some houses further away but views of hills too. Good coffee machine and capsules. Short walk to bus stop and Marazion. Great train journey from Exeter.

The apartment was very clean and tidy& the kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. Located right in the center, near the front sea. I loved the “no fuss” checking and the kids loved they had access to Netflix🙈 ❤️

Really lovely en suite room that provided ample space, as did the bathroom. Really comfortable bed. Great view over the bay from the window. Good tea and coffee facilities with Cornish water in the room and decent size wardrobe.

Small, pretty town, with plenty of craft shops, galleries and places to eat and drink. Friendly residents. Lovely gifts to be found in Morva, good food to be had in the Cutty Sark restaurant. The bar in the Godolphin Hotel is a good spot for a drink with a view. A wander around the town is worth it, as is a visit to the craft fair, which is on in All Saints Church Hall on Mondays and Tuesdays. The local shop is good for essentials like milk and tea, but self-catering visitors might need to head farther afield for a 'big shop'.

Marazion is a nice, pretty, seaside town that doesn't feel overly touristic; nice pubs, other places to eat, a few galleries, interesting museum and, of course, St Michael's Mount to photograph from all angles! Parking is restricted but the town is quite well served by local bus services. Main deficiencies are that it currently lacks a Post Office or ATM if you need cash or more than just a postage stamp.

Marazion and the surrounding area was fantastic.
Marazion and the surrounding area was fantastic.
There were quite a few problems with the accomodation though while we were there, including electrical issues which meant no tv and no wifi, damp in the lounge area and windows in the lounge that let rainwater in.
Also the host stopped replying to my emails which we thought rather rude.

Charming town with very friendly citizens and other tourists. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was while at the same time the town felt alive and there were many commerces with charming entrepreneurs running them. It is easy to just walk around Marazion but you can also move around in a cab.

We simply loved the place.
We simply loved the place. A wonderful, quiet and quaint little village perfect for a seaside escape. The only thing it was missing was, perhaps, a proper shop for supplies, and maybe more diverse eating options ( there were no Asian themed places, for instance).

We went out of season so many shops did not open even if they displayed opening times, open one day and not the next. Small place but has most of what you need and is very close to other larger areas that offer more. Good location and nice walks. Can imagine in peak times it is very difficult to get about and find a place to eat.
Nice spacious detached 2 bedroom bungalow that was one of nine similar detached properties. It is set just over the sea wall from the coast path in a quiet position and had an outdoor seat facing St Michaels Mount.
It was conveniently set around 20 minutes level walk from the often very busy Marazion. Penzance was within 50 minutes flat walking. The bungalow was clean and well equipped and built as a holiday property so did not take away property from the locals . There was plenty of parking and 2 cafes within 100 yards.
I booked this hotel after having a complete meltdown, with a Air B&B, I booked the Godolphin, out of desperation. Two minutes later Vicky called me, she was so lovely, I explained what had happened at the Air B&B, we met Vicky when we booked in, what a amazing beautiful young lady. Vicky is a credit to Godolphin. She was so attentive, even taking our bags up to our room. Because of Vicky, we felt so comfortable, so happy to stay, we booked more nights. We will definitely be back ❤️Xxx
Thank you to Erika and Dan for providing such wonderful accommodation. My partner and I stayed at The Lookout for two nights and it was superb. The apartment itself is extremely clean, comfortable, well-equipped and in an excellent location, offering both privacy and easy access to Marazion and the surrounding area. The refreshments provided (especially the croissants and scones) were very thoughtful. I would gladly stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area.
Just an excellent hotel, well run with lovely staff, always available to help.
Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice, cooked to order, served by smiling ladies who were genuinely interested in me having a great stay.
Restaurant also was great, again plenty of choice and very reasonable. The Cutty Sark pub is attached to the property and again very friendly. Lounge at the front of the hotel very comfortable.
Room excellent.
Would definitely stay here again.
The location, views and the cottage exceeded expectations. The house is fully equipped and beautifully designed. It is truly a magical spot, and it’s close enough to town to walk to restaurants and St Michael’s Mount. Also a path for walks on the beach. The owner is responsive and provided great information about the house and the surrounding area. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.
The staff is awesome, attentive and lovely all the times!
The hotel is an old house, but very beautiful, near the beach front. The room is small, but very cosy. So is the bathroom. We had a pleasant night.
The hotel has a pub and à restaurant, which was great for us, as we had a long day driving with rain at time of arrival ( it was already dark). They have parking as well.
We recommend the hotel.
Clean, comfortable and functional room. I had a front room with a view of St Michael's Mount which was lovely.
Landlady was friendly and made me feel very welcome.
A good choice of breakfast items. Quality sausage and bacon used in the English breakfast.
It was good that there was a private car park belonging to the b&b and the centre of Marazion was just over a five minute walk away.
View & location. Ease of facilities cafe, pub, supermarkets and walking distance to Marazion, St Michaels Mount and Penzance (SW Coastal path or beach). Ease to access beach in front of accommodation, great if you have children or just want an easy day! Washing machine and dishwasher. very handy. Complementary milk, tea & coffee etc very handy when arriving after a long drive.
The Authenticity of the place, the fresh air coming through the open windows, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff especially "Mo"
They also ccomodated us with breakfast in the outside restaurant twice, which was lovely.
The breakfasts were also great value.
Parking was a bit tenuous but we always managed to get one just outside the hotel.
The location and view were worth the extra costs. We could sit in the bay window and look out to St Michael's Mount. The small town had excellent facilities and the Godolphin Restaurant was excellent and nearby.
Really loved the apartment and we made good use out of the hot tub.
There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space and only a short walk into Marazion.
Fantastic views of St Michael's Mount.
Beautiful location right on the beach, amazing views from the restaurant. Delicious food, great breakfast selection. Room really lovely, staff very helpful and friendly.
