We loved our stay.
We loved our stay. However, I'd recommend staying for 2 nights. Check out things happening during your visit. They do have fun events you might not want to miss! We enjoyed Patterson Cellars! Love how quiet Leavenworth is midweek, especially in the Winter. Check out the Reindeer Farm and a sleigh ride. Floating the river and then around blackbird island is a favorite during the summer, but pack your patience; parking is horrible. Check out the Enchantments, they are just that!

The town itself is beautiful and so are the mountains.
The town itself is beautiful and so are the mountains. But the town is only a 1-2 day town. It gets crowded at night even on weekdays. The parking is probably the worst part we bought sleds for $65 and only used them once. Would just advise going to one of the tubing places and renting. The snow turns to mud quick!! If you like German food you will definitely love the food. Cute shops with decent prices. The ginger bead house had amazing sugar cookies.

The Leavenworth town itself is not so much to see.
The Leavenworth town itself is not so much to see. It is crowded in the street. There are a lot of shops, but I think it would be more attractive with more cafes and restaurants downtown. The waterfront park is a lovely place to visit in the city. After all, Leavenworth is a transportation hub to visit the mountains and parks on the east side.FuUnited States - 10Scored 10

Covid restrictions have made things difficult everywhere, but Fairbridge has breakfast arranged well. We had no complaints. Also, we were in Leavenworth to gather with our grown kids at a campground. We arrived in town about 1:30. We thought we would need to kill time until four, but were let into our room upon arrival, where we could nap. We are seniors We got a room on the ground floor, much appreciated.

The hotel in remodeling and our room was very fresh, clean and modern. it was just on the edge of Leavenworth which means it was quiet and private with a short walk into town.
