My stay at Afroditi Venus Beach Hotel & Spa was simply unforgettable. The private beach and wellness center were the highlights of my trip. The room was elegantly furnished and had a balcony where I could soak in the sea breeze. The spa treatments were rejuvenating, and the indoor pool and hot tub were a dream. The hotel staff's hospitality and the stunning beachfront location make this a must-visit destination for a perfect getaway.

From travelling around Santorini we found Kamari to be the best part of the island. It is clean, has lovely restaurants and shops and whilst the beach is pebbly there are free sun lounges with a beautiful view out to sea. We hired a car and it was easy and free to park it near by. We would also recommend the Atlantis museum and the open air cinema.

A very neat promenade with a number of nicely decorated restaurants. However, when you go deeper inland, it is not arranged like that. The beach is better towards the big rock, because it has a better access to the sea.

The location is ok-ish as you have the beach (Kamari) nearby and some hikes that start a few hundreds of meters away from the property (e.g. Ancient Thira). There’s also a bus that can get you to Fira. There are also plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and even a great coffee shop and bakery at walking distance from the property. You’ll find street parking nearby and can perform self check in and check out which is convenient.
We didn’t like the facilities that much and the cleanliness. We found ants around the bed and didn’t get the room cleaned even when we asked for it. We left the “clean room sign” on the door and all we got were new towels.

It really is a good location.
It really is a good location. You do NOT want to be in Thira - just too busy.
Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from along the seafront.
Small compact little town with a bus service that seems to get well used. Bus stop is just up the road from the Hotel. Service is regular to other parts of the island. Do not drive unless you are competent and confident. They are nutters. Roads are not really adequate for a scooter - that's why we chose a quad bike. You need to be early or late into Thira because when the cruise ships disgorge their human cargo you get swept along with the tide - not good. It can get really hot during the day so suncream and hat and water a MUST.

Santorini is a beautiful island, we all know that.
Santorini is a beautiful island, we all know that. Oia and Fira are picture perfect cities. But to really enjoy holidays, go to Kamari. You don't have to walk far to go to the beach. And the beach is amazing. It's amazing vibe there, with great bars and restaurants. And you have buses all day long to go to Fira / Oia.
This place is GORGEOUS, full stop. The location is convenient to Kamari beach as well as tons of bars, restaurants and shops. The view from my room was beautiful and the staff was AMAZING, so sweet and helpful across the board. The breakfast each morning was tasty, and the pool was a whole vibe. The clientele seemed a bit older (retirees) so its not a turn-up spot but Santorini isn’t where you go for that sort of thing anyway. DEFINITELY try the homemade wine in the lobby, the jams at breakfast and order a Santellini Special from the bar.
Mr and Mrs Moschatos were wonderful hosts, they did their best to ensure that we have a pleasant and carefree stay in Santorini.
We got a spacious apartment that had both seaside and mountain view. It was nicely decorated and had all the facilities you'd need.
It might be one of the best locations in Kamari: close to the main bus stop and close to Kamari Beach (<5 minutes walk, there's even a private alley down to the beach). There are lots of amazing tavernas nearby, plus Santorini's best bakery.
We had a wonderful time at Hotel 28 in Santorini. The staff was more than friendly. Always available with good suggestions for the time in Santorini. The room was nice and clean. The pool area is beautiful! Also the hotel is just a few minutes walk away from the sea. There you have a lot of opportunities to relax at the beach or to grab nice food in a lot of different restaurants. We highly recommend this accommodation :-)
I recommend the villa Angira to everyone, it is located in a very quiet location , with a nice bar and a wonderful swimming pool, but this would not be possible without the involvement of the owner Mihaela and her husband, who are always available to help you with any information and suggestions to make your vacation one as you wanted I will return here when I come again to Santorini . Thank you Mihaela
We stayed a week. The hotel was amazing. Staff is the best, so warm and welcoming, we felt like we were staying at home. Room and garden design is incredible, bathroom almost feels like a spa:) Swimming pool area is very nice with sunbeds, and the water temperature is perfect. Position is excellent, in our opinion the best in Santorini: beach really close, and center/Fira/Oia are a short bus trip away.
All just perfect. The room, the staff, the beach the food. I cant find the words to show my appreciation for their amability. They offer us a room for free in the night of our arrival, our checkin was for the next day. They offer us even the breakfast. Absolutly fantastic. The beach one step away from hotel. Cleaning every day, new towels every day.Is the perfect choice for a holiday in Santorini.
Excellent location, exceptional hospitality by Hegi. Nice clean pool. Hegi went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. She followed up on hotel transfers to and from the airport and arranged a very nice daylong tour of the island for us. She definitely changed my mind about Greek hospitality after the disappointment I had in Athens before going to Santorini.
Villa Dioni was absolutely beautiful all around! The staff made our stay feel like we were at home. There is a big emphasis on family here, and all guests feel apart of it all! The property was quaint and peaceful, while also being located only a few steps from the gorgeous black beaches. I would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Santorini in a heartbeat!
We needed a getaway from work and we decided on Santorini island. We decided on Afroditi Venus Hotel and we are so glad we did! When we checked in we were given some information about the island. Our room was great with spectacular view! The staff was incredible from the front door to the beach service topnotch! We will definitely be back to stay and highly recommend.
This is a small family run hotel a few minutes walk from a great beach. Kamari has a very different feel from the towns on the western side of Santorini, so staying here would allow you to experience the island in a different, more authentic way. It's very easy to travel around by bus, and the best breakfast spot in the whole island is a short walk away.
Everything was great, Stamatis and Petrus are very nice, friendly and helpful. they provided us some good information about how to spend our short holiday in Santorini. they responded very quickly via mail before we arrived there. You will have the best view ever in this Hotel!! it is on top of the Hill, The Beach is around 10-15 min walk from the Hotel.
Stamatis and Pietro treated us like family. They provided TOP recommendations in the island and tips for visiting Santorini as a local. They helped in everything we needed, super helpful for us as it was the first time that visited the island. Facilities were clean and modern, and sea views are just incredible. I would recommend this hotel 100%!!!
Location is right on the beach (chairs and towels are provided to hotel guests). Rooms are comfortable (shower is somewhat small). Restaurant has a lot of options and is really good. Owner Minos is absolutely amazing - helping with everything and make you feel so welcome. Overall is great experience. We’ll be back next time we are in Santorini.
The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything. They recommended us a cruise that was exceptional. The accomodation was very clean and good value for money, nearby the beach. I would recommend this accomodation in Kamari, it’s better than going some place else in Santorini.
George is a great host. We are vegetarian so his mom baked a eggless cake that we excellent. George stocked the refrigerator with fruits and had many things for us.
If we ever go back to Santorini we would definitely stay at the same place. Thank you George for everything.
Resort style accommodation with friendly and helpful staff. We were able to get nice tips on where to eat and go in Santorini thanks to the staff. Rooms were clean and had nice ambience from balcony next to the pool. We didn't hear any airplanes or noise at night.
This was our second stay. Great location right by the beach with beds and umbrellas available as well as food and drink service. Nice pool and bar. Super friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. Our hotel of choice for Santorini.
Wonderful staff, stylish property, great room with kitchenette, generous, delicious breakfast, very quiet, located in Kamari which is my favorite place to stay in Santorini. I will be happy to stay at Anassa again.
Breakfast was excellent and included in our room price. The location is a short walk from Kamari beach. Our family loved the pool too. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini.
Location is in the city center, hotel is nice and clean. Personnel is also very friendly and kind. We liked the pool which is very nice option to the rocky Santorini beaches. :)
