Falmouth is a hilly town but has lots to offer for all age groups if you can walk up hills. The town is like most other towns with many empty shops sadly but there are still lots of shops and independent shops. The art gallery was a bit disappointing although the building it was in is beautiful. The Museum is good value for money and you can return any time within the year once you have paid entrance fee. Falmouth is very close to lots of other nice places in Cornwall. You can easily walk from the train station into town. I ate at Verdant Tapas bar and another Tapas bar outside of town, you cannot pre book at Verdants. The town is a bit tatty in places but it adds to its character! Lots of places to eat to cater for all peoples tastes!

The "Sabzi" cafe is great for vegan persian themed food, daily changing menu, a sample box is enough food for two people two meals. The Charity shops have more men's wear than most: Jackets, Shoes.

I love having a variety of safe sandy swimming beaches with calm waters ideal for paddleboarding, kayak exploration. Great range of places to eat, lots of options for vegans. Always some type of live music on somewhere. Good vibe to the town. Ideal location to explore the surrounding area by foot. A must visit is the Wilder Kitchen, such a gem serving delicious Thali. Also Castle beach cafe for takeaway breakfast or lunch and Ciuri Ciuri for the best italian Gelato (always great vegan choices too)

Falmouth is a compact sea-side town with plenty of restaurants and a thriving arts community. While one can easily walk around Falmouth there are also many attractions within a short drive. Taxis are also readily available.

Walking through the town was wonderful.
Little surprising alleyways to explore.
The pier is great to sit and have a coffee or ice-cream.
Take a boat ride across to St Mawes.
Honestly I cannot rate this hotel enough!! We stayed in a king bedroom, and it was very clearly newly redecorated and it was lovely, the bed was so comfy and the room was so clean! We stayed with our dog and only paid a £5 charge for him to stay which is incredible value. We had a slight issue with our toilet flush, but someone was at our door within 3 minutes when we told them about it. There customer service was phenomenal, I would recommend this place to everyone for a nice cheap place to stay in Falmouth!
The was room exactly as described & hotel set within a beautiful garden. The hotel was exceptionally clean everywhere. The gym, sauna, steam room & pool easy to access & use. The breakfast offered an excellent choice & was delicious. The staff were friendly & helpful. Excellent service. I took an evening walk down to the quays & the taxi fare back was very reasonable. I wont hesitate to see if there are any vacancies when next wanting to stay in the Falmouth area for business or a hotel holiday.
The location was excellent, overlooking a lovely bay. It was a really nice walk along the pavement either way, and the beach was only a few minutes away. Also a pretty easy 20 minute walk to Falmouth centre. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were helpful. Loved the extra terraced area to sit outside and admire the bay view.
The room is in a quiet street one block from the sea front and about a 10 minute walk to the town centre. On arrival the hotel gave me a small bottle wine on the bed. The TV didn't work on arrival but the staff member did her best to sort and eventually succeeded. Breakfast was ok. Very pretty small front garden, nice to sit out in.
Falmouth is a beautiful place, we are both determined to come again. Incredible room with sea view. The host was so welcoming and friendly, she got a lovely cake for my wife when she learned it was her birthday - thank you! Delicious breakfast. Excellent conversation with her and her partner about the area
The hotel is in an excellent location close to the beach but only a short walk from the centre of Falmouth and the cliff paths for walks.. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. There was a good choice if food for breakfast and the bar is handy although we didn't use it this time.
Great location in Falmouth near the beach but 10 mins from town center and restaurants. Comfortable room and bed and good WiFi. Breakfast was fabulous and it was good to be offered a bag to take a roll away for lunch. Plus a piece of wicked chocolate croissant bread pudding.
All about location.. near sea and Falmouth town centre .. excellent
Parking available
Some aspects of “ luxury lodge “ appreciated..nice fitted kitchen, comfortable beds and linen, nice bathroom ,2 toilets
Potentially can use hotel facilities ( though we didnt)
Very friendly staff, traditional classic English beach hotel, pool and leisure facilities were lovely and great location on the sea front nice walk to two beaches and short walk into town where the harbour is. Also very close to Falmouth docks trains station.
Breakfast was very good, dinner just excellent. We had a roadside room - knowingly, and therefore there was some traffic noise but not too bad. The overall standard of the hotel was high.
The staff were all very good being both helpful and knowledgeable.
This hotel offered a truly serene and secluded escape. Its perfect location, nestled far away with its own garden/forest and proximity to the beach, made it an ideal choice for a peaceful and quiet getaway. I thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil ambiance.
My second stay here and still believe it to be fair value for money. Roseland House is a good middle of the road between a basic hotel/motel and a self-catering holiday accommodation. The key code entery makes the stay easy.
Located in beautiful countryside with limited sea views. Short drive to Falmouth which boasts maritime museum and range of eateries, shops and amenities. Fine dining in the hotel itself at a reasonable price is a bonus.
A great hotel in an fantastic location and within 5-10 mis walk into Falmouth. I had a really spacious room with an out look
towards the sea. Breakfast was first class and really tasty. All staff very good.
Gorgeous little house, beautifuly decorated in the heart of Falmouth with everything you need. We loved our stay and will definitely be back, great communication throughout.
