just wow! it was way more beautiful then what e picture shows. stays in the pods and they did seem to be new, almost seemed like we were the first ones to stay there. loved the area and felt very home like with the farm just behind the pod (but not to close either). took some walks in the area and that was also surprisingly beautiful.

The kitchen had everything you could need for self-catering and it was very comfortable for a few days stay. After a month of travelling it was also a great location for a rest day as I could just relax in the lounge and sort out my own meals. A real home from home. It was also a good base from which to visit some spots along Hadrian's Wall.

I find it to be one of the best hostels on my travels to Newcastle. Location a few hundred yards from the main railway station which is easy on carrying luggage, the staff are excellent, dorms are very clean toilet and shower outside of dorms.
