Room was very nice and seems that eveything had been thought of. There was a coffee machine and some food in the fridge (juice, sandwich, eggs). Iro, The host welcomed us and explained everything. The place is very close to the port and Iro drove us the next morning to the ferry.

The apartment was spacious and had all the facilities you need for a short or long stay. It had a lovely internal courtyard and was spotlessly clean. A nice touch was that continental breakfast was unexpectedly provided - bread, ham, cheese, jam. There was also a small decanter of her homemade liqueur. We have to confess that we had a couple of glasses each and it was delicious! Local restaurants, a bakers and supermarket are within a ten minute walk. Mary was an excellent host and went above and beyond what would normally be expected, especially for a one night stay. She booked our transfer taxis for us from the airport to Lavrio and from the apartment to the port the next day. Mary made our journey seamless and she is a lovely lady. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Lavrio.

We had a cruise that was departing near there and you can see the port - from the property. The hosts were excellent- even helping us arrange airport pickup, port drop off, and pick up - with a transfer to be dropped at Athens Central to a luggage storage so we could explore!

She bothered to call me (from abroad) a day on advance and advise me about the easiest way of arrival (during the late hours in a weekend). The apartment was clean, very spacious, hot water and all the amenities. Mary left a fresh food in the fridge, everything for a tea a coffee in the kitchen. I had a good rest and ate in the morning (Sunday) and walked about 15 minutes to my destination - Lavrio port.
