The house and garden are in impeccable condition. Everything is neatly and lovingly cared for by the owner and his wife. The apartment is in outstanding condition and you feel comfy immediately. The interiors are well thought through and of higher standard. There is a balcony, with a view to the sea and into the garden, where you can watch little lizards sun bathing. We especially loved, that there was a washing machine. You reach the beach, a very good bakery and a supermarket in just a few walking minutes, however it’s quiet at night and you aren’t in middle of the touristy hustle and bustle. The location couldn’t have been better. There was plenty of good coffee and a bottle of wine when we arrived. The owner offered nice advice and was really attentive and kind.

Stay in Giardini Naxos at MarEtna as opposed to Taormina as it’s 1/4 of the price for accommodations, you’re near the train station for easy day trips, and the best restaurant we went to in the area (even eating in Taormina twice) is down the street at Le Desir Piquant…

Flat was nice too, large spaces, nice bathroom, large living room, large, equipped kitchen, cosy balcony, fishes inside + rabbit in the next garden ( view from the balcony) are very funny. It is not far from train station and bus station, from where you can easily reach Taormina, Catania and other places. Nearby there are also restaurants, backary, mini market and so on. With the kitchen you can cook if you want. Katia is very nice and always responded fast. We had really a good time there.

In a little square in Giardini Naxos, that’s within a 40 minute walk to stunning Taormina (uphill mind so worked for us as a young couple, but most people have cars/mopeds so isn’t a problem, and there is a frequent convenient bus plus taxis as well). We loved our evenings sitting by the little balcony, plus the kitchen was well equipped with coffee, sugar, salt, and oil provided, which is surprising rare these days! Bed was extremely comfortable too.
