The location was incredible - right next to a tabaccheria for bus tickets. The space was clean and well-equipped, and I loved how much like home it felt. The hostess was the very best part!! I learned I had lost my passport when I checked in, and she worked so hard to help me contact the bus station and post office and to stay positive. She even helped me make a report at the police station. I can't think of ever having a host that went so above and beyond in this way. During a time that is stressful and inconvenient, I felt cared for and supported far from home. I am so grateful.

The host, Paola, is lovely - she even prepared italian breakfast for us :) Since we were in Italia in the hottest week of the summer, we were glad for ventilator and AC. It is very private, my dog enjoyed the garden so much, he did not want to go home.

Close to the lake and the promenade but with a "small cost" given the fact that on the way back, you have to climb a little hill. There is a beautiful terrace with direct access from the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with absolutely everything you need (from ustensils to spices!!!). Another very important aspect (especially in Salo) is the parking space in the yard. I recommend. We are coming back in September on vacation.

Everything you need is in the kitchen, nice bathrooms and the beds were so comfortable. The indoor pool is fantastic vor swimming. The host is a really nice guy and helps with every question. We really felt in love with this house and the area, we´ll come again soon :)

Outside bbq/kitchen area was well used and if you love cooking then there was all the equipment you needed for great meals. Fantastic view of the lake. Also the 204 bus runs every 30 mins from the bottom of the road 5 mins from the villa into Salo and the Aldi was great and only 10 mins walk so we did not need a car.
