Used the central BBQ but BBQ tools available. Had to go and ask for a pair of tongs. Location is close to Twizel shops and an easy walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good starting location for a day trip to Mt Cook and the Hooker Valley Trail walk.

The welcome was excellent with lots of useful information about walks up at Mt Cook/Aoraki. The cottage was spacious with two bedrooms, a decent bathroom and a kitchen with plentiful equipment to make self catering easy. The sitting out area on the verandah was an extra bonus. The cottage is really good value for money.
