House exceeded our expectations! Helena was very gracious and provided a great breakfast based on our schedule. The house was well appointed, everything you want and expect when traveling, including an extensive honor bar. Highly recommend and hope to come back! Saw many comments about being at top of hill which it is, so having a car was a big plus. Anyone traveling to Douro should expect hills!

Short easy walk from the station. Fridge and pantry stocked with loads of cold drinks and a fantastic amount of supplies for breakfast. A huge bowl of fresh fruit. Fresh bread delivered daily to your door. The apartment had been kept lovely and cool for our arrival and was spotlessly clean. The bed was wonderful- so comfortable with quality sheets and the bedroom was very quiet. The balcony was lovely - a relaxing and private place to sit with a drink in the evening or for breakfast with a beautiful view across the Pinhao river. The apartment is really big - would be great for a family or 2 couples as it would still feel spacious. The host made sure we had everything we needed. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.

My family and I stayed in both apartments. They were clean and comfortable with a beautiful view from the balcony. It is located a fairly long walk up a hill from town and down a steep driveway once you enter the property. The hosts are very nice. We would stay here again.
