Self Catering Accommodation in Prainha de Baixo

We booked the apartment on the second floor and spent a total of 5 days here. The accommodation is exceptionally beautiful and has several huge windows with sea view from all rooms, even from the bed. The accommodation was very clean and super well equipped, there is really nothing missing here (two bathrooms with towels and beach towels, hairdryer, huge shower, kitchen with usual dishes, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, stove, microwave, large refrigerator, washing machine and dryer, drying racks, ...). To the front facing the sea, there is a balcony where several people can easily sit and eat. To the rear facing the mountain, there is a large terrace with comfy seating and a barbecue. Another highlight was the jacuzzi, where you could relax wonderfully after the hikes and enjoy a magnificent view. Paulo, the owner, was always available and responded very quickly and friendly to all questions. The self-check-in was super uncomplicated. Prainha is a nice little coastal village; there are a few restaurants here and several small grocery stores. Overall, it is recommended for people looking for a quiet and peaceful place to relax. A rental car is highly recommended for the entire island, otherwise we would certainly not have discovered many beautiful corners. We enjoyed our time here very much and would come back anytime. Very good value for money!

The house was beautiful, so well furnished. Kitchen was very well equipped, and the outdoor eating area was lovely. location was great, close to a popular natural swimming pool and the town square. It was also great to have air conditioning at the house.

This is a great selection. The house is spotless and the owner who lives on the floor below brought us things she cooked, and an incredible bread (corn flour?) baked at a nearby bakery that her family runs. The location is great too. Just by the beach and 1-minute walk from a good restaurant (Adega Acoriana)

This is definitely the best place to stay in Pico. Everything is perfect about it - the location is very secluded, at least it was for us - no neighbours, quiet. Stunning views of the ocean, beautiful garden, pool. The whole atmosphere of the place is so special and the style the house is decorated in resonated with us on some level. The villa is spotlessly clean and has everything one might need for a comfortable stay. Will definitely come back! Thank you, Pedro and Vania!

A beautiful stone cottage with fabulous views looking out to sea with mountains behind. Very spacious and comfortable with character. Great customer service - good information on the cottage, local area and recommendations of where to eat etc. Responsive to our queries. A welcome basket of coffee/ local specialities very nice.

Nice location a few meters from the shore in pleasant town. Nice sea view! We saw dolphins from the house.

The property is a small traditional Pico cottage, which ideal for those that wish to get a taste of how the locals lived in the old days. It has some modern comforts, like a very good mattress, an oven, microwave, small coffee machine, and toilet with shower. WiFi is not available, and 3G can be hard to get - which is ideal for workaholics in therapy. The cottage is located in a very quiet place.

The house is amazing, with all conforts, very good position near the natural pools, all perfect with the check in.
