Very small village with narrow road for a 2 ways traffic. I was on a working trip so for me it was perfect to enjoy the view of the nature after a long working day.

El Balcon De La Lomba is located in La Lomba, at the foot of Alto Campoo and its ski slopes. Set in an old stone house, it offers spacious, modern apartments. Free private parking is available on site. We loved the house. We also loved the jacuzzi and sauna experience after spending the day skiing. Mary was very polite and helpful. You have everything you need for cooking. Short drive to the ski resort.

Reinosa Train Station and the city centre are 10 minutes’ drive offering a variety of traditional Spanish restaurants. Alto Campoo Ski Resort and El Cuchillón are within 10 km away, while Santander Airport is 1-hour drive from the property. Everything was perfect. Mario and Susana were the best hosts, very professional but l also warm and inviting. They were able to recommend many things to do in the area and were extremely helpful. The breakfast every morning was excellent with a variety of options. The facilities were some of the best we’ve ever stayed at. The room was huge, updated, and very clean and there were some indoor and outdoor common areas that were charming and welcoming. The overall feel was very warm and inviting. We will definitely return as this was the perfect place to stay for our relaxing week away.
