Location is wonderful! Just few walking steps to all tourist places; Mirabell garden, restaurants, shopping area. Salzburg HBF main train station is very near (5 minutes by car, 18 minutes walking distance). Staff were very friendly and arranged everything for us; transportation, tickets, etc. I highly recommend staying at this hotel; not just in Salzburg, but wherever it is available in any city specially in Vienna!

The hotel was really beautiful and felt so Austrian which was fun as it was our first time in the country. Our room had a lovely sitting area with windows overlooking the pool. The outside area looked stunning. I wish we could have enjoyed the pool and outdoor area. It was very convenient having a restaurant at the hotel although very few people spoke English and the menus were not in English. Thankfully google translate on our phones saved the day!

I changed rooms as the first one was smelling of cigarette and the bathroom towels were smelling as well. The second room was very clean. The breakfast was rich in food and the view of Salzburg was spectacular! The spa and wellness centre was my favourite part of the hotel: there was a steam room and a sauna and sun beds with panoramic views of the city and the Alps.
