Overlooking Edinburgh Castle, the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is located in the financial district, next to the West End business and entertainment area and a five-minute walk from Princes Street, 500 metres from Edinburgh Castle.

The hotel is beautiful, very clean and centrally located. We didn't eat on site as the city offers many choices but the food options were very appealing. The pool is also great and the spa package is worth it.

Spacious and clean room. We stayed in a luxury double. It was a great size. Bed was comfortable and shower was amazing! Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially our breakfast server. Breakfast was available until 12pm which we really liked! Good location, easy walking distance to all major sites and attractions. Good restaurants and pubs surrounding the hotel. We will definitely book again.

The rooms themselves are spacious, and clean. Tunnocks is always a nice addition. Glass frosted doors for the bathrooms though? Noooope. The lift is lower than me, so always take the stairs. Reception is an absolute sauna???? We always struggled to find the door to the hotel, but I'm.kinda a bit dim. Overall, would stay here again and completely avoid breakfast and book in elsewhere.

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was quite nice (if you're ok with British food). The swimming pool was ok, especially if you just want to swim, but to relax in warm water pool you need to pay extra for the access to the thermal spa.

All of it. We went for an evening swim in the lovely warm pool, the facilities were brilliant and they dim the lights so it was really relaxing. We stayed in one of the new rooms which was very spacious and clean. The bed was like sleeping on clouds. Dinner was fantastic, although the bang bang cauliflower was extremely bang bang!! And breakfast was also delicious with so much choice.

The gym was very well-equipped and one was able to relax easily in the spa area due to the huge pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Regarding the room, there was a decent amount of space to put the luggage and the bathroom was clean and well lit.

The building and grounds were impressive, and the cocktail lounge was a nice warm place to relax, with a good choice of drinks available. The spa facilities were good and the massages we had were very relaxing. The breakfast choices were varied and the hot food options were well prepared.
