We know the hotel quite well - our third stay here this year and have been staying at this hotel for the last ten years. We have seen a a general improvement over the last couple of years - ambiance of the bar and restaurant area, breakfast ( have never had dinner in the hotel) and now I understand, there is a new wellness area offering massages etc - a definite plus,

Used hotel several times when in area. It does not disappoint even if last 2 visits were to attend family funerals. Staff friendly & helpful. Spacious, welcoming Foyer, Bar & Dining area to relax & meet family & friends. Very quiet, large comfortable bedroom. Bed with good mattress ensured good night's sleep. Breakfast chaotic with replenishment slow as very busy, but plentiful, varied & well presented.
