The brand new hotel, very well maintained. Breakfast that respects the standard of a 5-star hotel. The swimming pools and the private beach. You don't really need to have any doubts when you choose this hotel.

The location was excellent. Beautiful apartment with great view from the balcony. Very clean. Kitchen very good equipped. Short distance everywhere. Lot of restaurants and shops in neighborhood. For me it was a dream place to visit Rethymno.

My partner and I stayed at MELROSE hotel Rethymno for 10 days in October and we found it absolutely amazing! LOCATION is prime, few steps from the beach, a pleasant walk to the old town, easy access to main roads for exploration of the island by car. Restaurants in the immediate vicinity abide, and they are all nice ones. We especially enjoyed Noble cafe for desserts, Taverna Thalassa for seafood and Crete specialties and Pagliaccio for pasta. BREAKFAST was just wow, rich and delicious. We have very different food preferences, yet almost every day we could have a new selection on our plates. Exquisite desserts and fresh fruit and vegetables are served daily, variety of pastry, dairy and eggs/omelettes available. Good choice of cereal and the greatest variety of toppings and nuts I’ve ever come across at the hotels. The breakfast area is an eye-candy: one can either sit on a terrace partially overlooking the seaside, or enjoy the serenity of the poolside, which is private and hidden from the outside. ROOM is spacious, airy and comfortable, with black-out curtains and quiet AC. Modern design. The bed is big enough with a quality mattress and soft/hard pillows, two per person. The extra couch is a bonus. The sockets are there when you need them! WiFi signal is strong and stable throughout the property, the TV is a smart one with Netflix. The room is also equipped with a kettle, and tea/coffee stocks are refilled daily at cleanup. The balcony is a delight. Bathroom is superb, with very nice amenities - I even consider ordering the shower gel and soap, they smelled so fresh! PERSONNEL is highly professional, very welcoming and genuinely smiling. A couple of days before our trip there was a strong earthquake in Crete, I texted the hotel and Athena calmed me down when I was on the edge of cancelling the vacation (so glad I didn’t!).

Such a beautiful environment. I've noticed that every morning 3 beautiful woman from staff cleaned the whole territory. Also the location is good. Nice food, every time I found something interesting and taste. High quality food.
