Overlooking the River Liffey, The Spencer Hotel is 10 minutes from the famous O'Connell Bridge and 20 minutes from the Temple Bar and Grafton Street.

Each air-conditioned room includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some of the guestrooms feature a seating area or a balcony with magnificent city views. All rooms include Nespresso coffee machines and tea making facilities. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom with power shower and complimentary Handmade Soap Company toiletries.

The location of the hotel and view of the river were exceptional. The front desk manager Tommy was extremely helpful in giving me an early check in which is exactly what I needed after a long flight and transit. He accommodated me without blinking an eye and let me change rooms the next day because of construction work. Even after moving rooms, he called to check that my new room was ok and when I asked for a flatter pillow, he saw to it immediately. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms were warm. Tommy gave me 5 star treatment in a 4 star hotel and for that I was very grateful and impressed. The hotel was one of the best parts of my trip to dublin. I would definitely go back to stay there as long as Tommy is there, I know I’ll be taken care of.

The room was very comfortable with lovely beds and nice lounge chairs for relaxation. All areas were spotlessly clean. There was lots of space for storage, and all the standard amenities in the room. I appreciated being able to use the pool, sauna and steam room, which are in the gym on site. With windows closed, there was no traffic noise. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Check in / check out were made easier with automatic machines, avoiding the need to queue.

The decor and interiors were excellent, very modern and classic. The Amenities at the hotel were great, fantastic bar, incredible gym with Sauna and the latest fitness equipment. The room was well stocked with items to purchase (if a little on the pricey side!) and the bathroom was spacious and again well equipped. The rooftop bar and restaurant was fantastic and enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch there (recommend the Irish breakfast with a bloody mary)

I have stayed in this hotel a few times before. The location is excellent for the 3arena, just a nice walk from town, too. The area is safe and there are a few nice pubs around too. The staff were all in very good, friendly form even tho it was a very busy bankholiday Saturday. They even had time for a little banter. The barfood and breakfast were excellent . The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool and sauna just finished a wonderful stay of nicely

Rooms clean and comfortable, lobby was well decorated for the festive season. Was great to have a leisure facility with pool and jacuzzi although disappointed that the sauna was not in use. Great massage too although the massage room was right next to the pool so lots of noise which made it not as relaxing as it could have been. Very accommodating with late check out. Good choice at breakfast.
