Contrary to most people preferences, this accommodation is located a 40 minute walk to the city center, which means there are almost no tourists and you really get to see how Italians live and behave. A small beach with black sand and rocky shore is located about 15 mins from the house, there are pastry shops, small boutiques and grocery stores located on your way there. City buses dont really exist {they ususally just dont arrive or are 20 minutes early} so stick to your feet.

We highly recommend memo design suites in Catania! The space and room was superb with an open and modern design and beautiful details. The rooms overlooks Via Etnea with its buzzing atmosphere and offers breathtaking views on the basilica, the historic city center and Mt Etnea. You will start the day with a breakfast of your choice brought the the room. Marilena and the staff of the suites were so kind and accommodating. We arrived late in the evening, Marilena surprised us with some welcome gifts and lots of suggestions for the days to come. It was sincerely one of our best stays ever! Thank you!
