Our stay here was amazing. The staff were great in accommodating us when we arrived a bit later than the usual check in time. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage which is very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is incredible. I stayed in a few different places over my 2 week vacation and this breakfast was by far the best! The facility is beautiful and I wish I stayed a bit longer to enjoy and explore it a bit more.

The staff member at reception picked up that it was my birthday and suprised me with a beautiful plate of cakes and complimentary sparkling wine in our room. The hotel overall was amazing. The pool facilities and jacuzzi was a dream to relax at. The breakfast buffet was expectional and the staff were super kind. We didnt have a car and they offered us a shuttle to town and back for a small fee. The bungalow was beautiful and well cleaned. We couldnt have wished for a better stay!

Everything. From our fantastic suite with the longest deepest balcony with four luxury Sun loungers, table and chairs with views of the mountains, surrounding Franschoek to the interior large bedroom space, huge bathroom and coffee station situated just outside the suite. The breakfast was a daily feast and common parts and swimming poolS, quirky and beautiful. However the best part of La Fontaine are the superb, very friendly and wonderful staff who will look after your every need. Thank you La Fontaine, we will be back.

A beautifully calm and relaxing space to escape to. Surrounded by lots of quirky farm animals, great food at Chef's Warehouse (including a wonderful breakfast spread they delivered to our door every morning) and delicious Maison wine in abundance. Close enough to Franschhoek town. Quality and unique finishes with meticulous attention to detail in all furnishings. The swimming pool and garden felt like a Mauritian oasis.

The hotel manager on duty (Max) was exceptional and could not have done more to assist us with every need. The spa was excellent and my wife's full body massage was outstanding Breakfast was great! Plenty of areas to sit and relax - particularly enjoyed the small personal courtyard area outside our room.
