A fresh breakfast buffet is included each morning at Hotel Rungholt, and the restaurant serves a range of international and regional specialities. Great location, close to the ocean. Nice and quite hotel and area. The breakfast was excellent and the service was very friendly. An breathtaking open view around the hotel and from my hotel room. I loved the heated floor in bathroom.

Everyone is very friendly and always attentive to assist and help . + we liked the breakfast (lovely atmosphere, great breakfast selection ) + great location - close to all attractions (beach, harbor) - we felt in love with our wellness suite (large, convenient, perfect view , nice interior design , great sauna ) Also the spa and pool area is tiny but very nice and well equipped

The spacious apartment with a terrace and sea views features 2 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower. Guests can enjoy an ambient stay in their soundproof room with parquet floors and a fireplace. This apartment is allergy-free and non-smoking. Beautiful Appartement with excellent location and standard. Even in winter comfortable and cosy.

The 3,500 m² large spa includes an outdoor pool, an indoor pool is now a normal pool without sea water. and various saunas. Guests can also work out in the gym, or book massages and beauty treatments. There is a stylish relaxation room looking out onto the North Sea across the dunes. + friendly and competent staff + late check out was possible + great SPA area + delicious breakfast and great breakfast hours + neat and clean facility + complimentary birthday cake

A variety of wellness packages are available for guests to get rejuvenated on-site. For guests with children, Høloftet bb offers an indoor play area and outdoor play equipment. The bed and breakfast has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Great and easy communication with the people there, super nice breakfast, and very cosy place. Great for a weekend trip to just relax and spend some time together.

Guests can enjoy free access to the 2,600 m² spa and wellness centre. It features a gym, sauna and steam room, in addition to bookable beauty treatments. There are also a restaurant and bar on site. Bicycles and golf equipment are available for rent. We loved our stay as a family of 5 with a toddler and preteens. We were a bit prudent of all the comments we read about the bad places to eat etc. but everything was fine. The restaurant provides fair enough food morning and evening, and there are many little shops around that provide all you need for your own cooking. In addition they are few restaurants on the island as well. Of course it is not fine dining, but if you want that, you book a 5* hotel. The view was super nice, and most of all it was quiet around! Access to the beaches was also super easy and as a bonus the pool is also nice for a swim. Kids tried the entertainment of the bowling and enjoyed it as well. The bungalow as well was fine, it had all stuff needed and it was well cleaned. We don't understand either people acting surprised about the charges for utilities as it is mentioned all over the place - we paid like 50 Euro for 4 days.

On-site facilities include a wellness centre, Icelandic horse riding and a games room. Active guests can work out in the gym or rent a bike and explore the area. Children will enjoy the on-site playground. The hotel is a bit rundown. Primarily the door handles of most rooms are coming off because non-Danes don't realize that you have to pull the handle up when unlocking or locking the door. The rooms are overall quite comfortable and the facilities (sauna's and small pool) are very nice after a hike to the beach or a horseback ride. The horse riding facilities are excellent.
