We were given the family room on the second floor, which is very spacious with high ceilings and two large beds. The room was tastefully decorated and well equipped, with AC, fan and a fridge. It has views over the canal and the large pool. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The property is in a quiet neighborhood a few minutes walk away from the sea front and restaurants. The host was very helpful and arranged our lift to the airport, a 20-25 minute drive away. A great place to start or end a trip to Sri Lanka.

We were greeted with a splendid home-cooked local Sri Lankan breakfast. The owner also offered me to be my tour guide for my entire stay in Sri Lanka and we spent the last night at this homestay as well we were greeted with Sri Lankan rice and curry. I would highly recommend this homestay.

The apartment is very new and clean and had all the amenities necessary. The location is ideal and restaurants, cafe, mini marts and the beach are all within walking distance. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a while.
