Bukit Bintang
0.7 miles from city centre
Lot 10, Imbi Plaza, Sungei Wang, BB Plaza, Fahrenheit, Starhill and Pavillion ... high-end and mid-range, the gang’s all here – at least in terms of big malls, all of which run the gamut from tired to tasteful. Don't miss the Bintang Walk Streets for amazing street food, or Cosmo’s World Theme Park in Berjaya Times Square for kid-friendly fun.

Kuala Lumpur City-Centre
In the city centre
KL City Centre is an amalgamation of all things commercial. It's filled with soaring skyscrapers that symbolise the capital's wealth and power, like the Petronas Twin Towers and the KL Tower. Yet there's also a softer side. Families stroll in Taman Tasik Perdana, children play in Butterfly Park and the health-conscious jog in KLCC Park.

Golden Triangle
0.7 miles from city centre
Golden Triangle encompasses several districts and has something for everyone. Find food and fashion on Bukit Bintang and Petaling Streets. Culture vultures can get crafty with traditional batik painting and basket weaving at Karyaneka. At night, find wacky nightclubs along Jalan P. Ramlee (the 'clubbing street') and fist-pump the night away.

KL Sentral Train Station
2 miles from city centre
Two reasons to stay in KL Sentral – food and connections! It's known as a transport hub, with easy links to anywhere in the city. For some great local eats, try Warong Kita or Kelantan Delights, famous for its strictly Malaysian buffet. The nearby Sooka Makan Foodcourt and Nu Sentral Mall offer an unending parade of dazzling pan-Asian flavours.

Kuala Lumpur is a city of tantalising contrasts, with seemingly no end to the list of things to do, see – and taste.
Packed with gleaming skyscrapers, large malls and bustling markets, Malaysia’s capital is a magnet for shopping and nightlife, but also a fusion of ancient cultures. Malay, Chinese, Indian, Tamil and Thai people have lived side by side here for generations – a melting pot that’s best appreciated through the local cuisine.
Follow your nose to Petaling Street in Chinatown, and try recipes like ‘Chili pan mee’, a noodle stir-fry of fried onions, fresh scallions, crushed peanuts, shredded pork and a poached egg. Or, head over to Brickfields (Little India) for spicy chicken curry, dosa pancakes and as many banana fritters as you can manage. Take a map to make sure you don’t get lost between these crowded districts.
But it’s not all about the food. The futuristic Petronas Towers define the Kuala Lumpur skyline, while the Islamic Arts Museum and National Museum offer a glimpse into the city’s short history. You can escape the hustle in the verdant Botanical Gardens, or the Batu Caves – a series of spectacular, Hindu shrine-filled chambers beneath a limestone hill, just half an hour north of the city.
Kuala Lumpur International Airport offers direct flights to Singapore and other world-wide destinations.

Lots to do.
24 April 2024
Lots to do. But you need a car if you stay in outskirts. Traffic can be bad at peak hours so travelling time is a factor. Roads are not well designed and missing turns can result in re routing that takes up time. Plan your trips and itinerary. Grab is available but GPS driving can sometimes be longer as roads changes can occur, with directions changing. KL has lots to offer. People are warm and if you speak Malay, even better. Food is great. Good food can be scattered, make you do your research and be ready to wait for good food.
The city is quite awesome with many attractions.

The city is quite awesome with many attractions. We spent 5 days in Malaysia so we did not do any trips outside the city. I think 7 or 8 days with have given us an opportunity to make a few day trips. It is very easy to get around the city and book tours.
🌟 Amazing Kuala Lumpur Experience
22 April 2024
🌟 Amazing Kuala Lumpur Experience Kuala Lumpur exceeded expectations with its incredible food, prime location, and affordable amenities. Surpassing even Hong Kong and Singapore, the city offers a unique blend of nature and modernity. The lush greenery surrounding the area adds to its charm, while the artistic architecture showcases its modern side. Kuala Lumpur proves to be a vibrant and cost-effective destination, where one can enjoy both the wonders of nature and the allure of urban living.

I love the city, but it was too hot (apparently there wdñas a heatwave). I travelled during public holiday, which meant real difficulties getting grab (ride hailing app, like uber) and had to wait minimum 10 minutes at best everytime.
We spent 7 days in KL.
21 April 2024
We spent 7 days in KL. We visited a lot of great buildings, temples, malls, coffee shops and more. Malaysian food like nasi lemak was so good! i almost eat at least once a day. The only downside of our tour was it was super hot since we visited in April. It was so hard to do the city tour coz we had to walk to visit the buildings since the buildings are just few mins away from each other. Also taxis are so expensive! They don't want meter. so it is more convenient to use grab instead of riding taxi. but overall it was a great trip!
It’s ok.
17 April 2024
It’s ok. Amazing to see Petronas Towers for the first time, but that’s it. Street food could be better. Most famous areas like Bukit Bintang are just luxurious malls. You could be anywhere in the world and you couldn’t notice. Batu Caves are overrated imo - but also very, very dirty.
