All clean & comfy & everything needed on arrival was provided (it was chucking it down & due to an arm injury I couldn't drive to fetch shopping) - the milk, tea, coffee & bread were so welcome, as was the Prosecco -thank you.

This property was perfect for us. Everything you could need had been thought of here, even cosy blankets and a bed for the dog! Arriving to home made cake was something else.. The property has beautiful views to the front and you can see bamford edge (on a clear day) from the kitchen. For walking the location was fabulous and with a bus stop outside you could get further afield on public transport if you needed. There is a washing machine in the property which was a real bonus for us after some muddy walks, and the pub is also just a short walk away.

The cottage is one of the oldest properties in the village and is a lovely location. It had a great cosy feel with stone walls and wooden beams. I would definitely recommend it and hope to stay there again one day soon!

Good breakfast, and a spacious newly equipped room. The staff were very kind and attentive. We were allowed to leave our car in their park while we explored the village and did an hour or two’s walk.

Location is a plus for this hotel, we were within a few minutes drive to a lot of beautiful walks and other little villages. The room was spacious and had everything you might need. The ensuite was almost as big as the room, the shower was massive. Very comfortable bed. Quiet area so slept well overnight. Buffet style breakfast had different options, you could have a full english or decide on cereal, bread, jam. A few things for vegans but not much.
