I visited Kalpetta with my daughter during a long weekend. Since this was a last minute plan, other facilities such as rental cab/bikes were full and there was absolutely no availability. As a family, we were worried about many other things too. These all were sorted out with the help and advice of Nikhila ji (the owner). She arranged a scooty for our daily roaming to early morning auto for dropping at the bus stand. I think Nikhila ji is the USP of this homestay. She is generous and very helpful. Maybe the facility doesn't have fancy items but for a family (including safety, helping and guiding hand) all the necessary things are available.
