The ground floor apartment is in a great location in a residential area. Quiet and peaceful but only a short walk to the beaches and bars and restaurants. A large supermarket literally 5 minutes walk away. Parking right by the property. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, with a small but very good shower in a spacious bathroom. There is also a washing machine, a private garden area and plenty of storage. Stefania and Alessandro the owners are a delightful couple and they live in the property above the apartment but are hugely respectful of the need for privacy. They are also very welcoming and very helpful with information about the local area and when we left some washing outside and there was a heavy shower they moved the airer to a sheltered spot. We had a car but used the bus to travel to Taormina and Castelmola. We also drove to the Etna cable car and drove to Messina to get the ferry to Stromboli where we spent the night although you can catch a ferry back again. It was an early start but well worth it. All in all we highly recommend this apartment and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Santy is a welcoming and caring host and she impressed us because she bought a special baby bed and a baby set knowing that we were coming with our little girl. The house is beautiful, clean and equipped with absolutely everything you need and I think it is ideal for a family on vacation. We also used the grill on the terrace and prepared a delicious Italian-style dinner.

The owners were most hospitable and keen to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The villa was very different, the very opposite of today's normal minimalist accommodation. The room was comfortable and a good size for three people. Breakfast was served on a terrace with views over to Etna. The breakfast was generous with typical Sicilian offerings. It was only a 15 minute walk to the centre of town with its lively promenade and restaurants.

The villa itself is beautiful and you feel like you are in a movie. the breakfast was so good with many things to eat. Salvatore was so kind as he handled a parking ticket we got in Taormina (don't try to park there on Saturday night...). Thank you Agatha and Salvatore, we miss you ...
