We travelled by rail from the UK so it was great to arrive at such a well-equipped house. We loved the view and the relaxed pace in Mergozzo. Helpful communication from the host and fantastic assistance from Abby in Mergozzo.

Very hospitable host, easy to reach in case of issues or questions. A beautiful garden and big pool. Spacious and clean rooms. The location of the house was such that is was near the center of town, yet we were not bothered by any traffic noise or other.

In short: everything! Patrizia and Gigi are two of the most kindhearted and warm people you will ever meet. The location is amazing. The view is amazing. The trip up with the jeep is super exciting and so beautiful! We loved every minute of our trip! The hot tub with the amazing view just topped everything off. Gigi made sure it was warm when we liked it! We were in need of some relaxation so we booked a couple of days. Next time we'll book a full week or even more! Grazie mille Patrizia and Gigi! Mergozzo is a gem of a place, and this traditional house has you literally 1 minute from the lake shore cafes and bars, yet is set back so generally quiet. Kitchen is really well equipped but the local eateries are so good we didn't use the kitchen much.

You can reach the property using the scenic Via Fillipo Turatti, but its easier if you approach it through via Leanardo da vinci. This is our second stay at the property. The property is brilliant, it has a large totally enclosed garden, complete with toys for children and different bikes. The garden is very well maintained. The parents of the hosts live in the first floor, the property is a ground floor appartment. Antonia and Gemma are very friendly and gave a lot of tips whilst handing over the keys. The property is very well maintained and theres a secure gate (with ample parking just outside the property). The guests enter the property through a well furnished open plan living dining area. This leads to a corridor, with a room containing the washing machine and which then leads on to a shower room and toilet. The corridor leads on to two rooms- a smaller one with a sofa bed and a larger master bedroom. There's ample storage. All the white goods (dishwasher, microwave, kettle, oven, etc) are present and very well maintained. The hosts also had left some essential tea, coffee and cookies. Bed linen and towels were provided. The rooms are very quiet in the evening. In the early morning, the bird song's simply divine! The views from the garden're really impressive, you can see snow capped mountains. The internet's quite good, the hostess has also provided a DVD player. The hostess is always accessible by email or phone and is extremely helpful! We left the keys with the parents of the hostess when we left. The town centre is just a few minutes walk away through via Gravellona Strada nuevo. The lake front has plenty of restaurants, pizzerias and bars. People're genuinely helpful. Theres a beautiful town church. You can buy groceries in the town centre, but there are some shops near Verbania which are less expensive. Lake Maggiore's just some minutes drive away. We look forward to returning!

We loved everything! The House, location and the breathtaking view over the lake. Very nice bar & restaurants just 1 minute walking distance from the lovely house. We also enjoyed our breakfast on the nice patio. We would love to go back to this place!!
