Singapore
A very spacious, comfortable and clean villa. The house itself is well-maintained and well-appointed with various housing appliances for you to do cooking, laundry, ironing etc. The rooms themselves are relatively large compared to typical houses in Japan. Each of the 3 rooms in the unit has an en suite, with a toilet inside each, with heated dryer functions for clothes - quite a rare configuration in Japan as well. The living room and kitchen were a very comfortable space, conducive for having night caps or dinners in-house. Walking distance to Honancho station, the nearest station to the villa, was manageable and stores (convenience stores, groceries, drugstores, restaurants) were right near the station. Honancho station is about 20-30 minutes away from Shibuya/Shinjuku. As the house is located in a more residential area in Tokyo, the surroundings of the house are calm and quiet, especially at night. The host was very hospitable and had done a lot to make the stay comforatable and answered our questions/requests for check-in times. Bonus points for good neighbourhood views of sakura trees during blooming season! Many thanks to Kazuko for helping us have a very pleasant stay!

Small kitchenette was handy. Beds were comfortable. Clothes washer/dryer in the room was awesome. Location was great. A quiet street with a wonderful market right across the street and plenty of small local restaurants nearby. A short 5-10 minute walk put you right in the middle of the chaos of Shibuya scramble. It was cool to be so near the action but still have a quiet retreat close by. Quick walk to two train stations too.AdrianFamily with young children

The hand rails at the stairways are very thoughtful and handy for elderly going up and down. Nice and quiet area and good for groups travelling together. The rooms were quite large compared to some we had stayed in. There was no noise from aircraft. The room was quiet. The Villa Fontaine was a little bit of luxury on our last night in Japan.

By Japan standards,the size of this apartment is a luxury and it really is. Modern furnishings, comfortable bed and even the futon was thick and luxurious. It's a modern and chic apartment in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood and the nearest train station is only 350m away. Plenty of convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. Owner was always helpful and would reply to questions within minutes. Super love this place and would come back to it.MasFamily with young children
