Quinta David, villa in Alvor

Located within 1.1 km of Alvor Beach and 1.6 km of Tres Irmaos Beach in Alvor, Quinta David features accommodation with seating area. We enjoyed staying in a property surrounded by a garden, with parking within the property, but still in walking distance to shops/ restaurants. Alvor boasts a wide selection of restaurants, we had great Japanese food at Omakase and a very good wood fired pizza at Peperoncino. There are of course also a lot of restaurants with local food, and although it was the end of November still many wete open. I can also recommend the bakery in town for great bread and pastries(or on the spot breakfast). The house had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The wifi was excellent, which for us was very important seeing that we are on a ‘workation’. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had very good water pressure. We stayed in the ‘fig house’, looking at the building it’s on the right corner. There are two terraces to choose from. It was great to have a washer and a rack to dry our clothes. The host supplied some ‘starter essentials’ such as tea, coffee and bottled water. There is an intermarche with a good selection a 3 min walk away( in fact you can see it from the terrace). The hosts were very friendly and the communication via what’s app was easy. Apart from the first night, we were the only ones there and had the place pretty much to ourselves. We enjoyed being able to help ourselves to lemons/limes and grapefruit from the garden. Considering we stayed at the end of November, the days were nice but the nights are very cool. There was a airco/heater system that kept the place comfortable, however heat tends to go up, where the bedroom is, to keep the ground floor warm there was an extra portable heater. There are two adorable dog and cats on the property.

We stayed here 3 weeks and loved everything! Its a wonderful place. 10 min by foot to the beach. Perfect also for families with a playground right in front of the door.

Excellent communication from the owner from booking to check out. Extremely clean, tidy and well-presented villa. 2 minute walk from the centre of Alvor which has lots of bars, restaurants and activities to offer. Hot tub and swimming pool were superb and the chlorine/pH etc. levels were monitored by professionals during our stay. Very comfortable beds. Good storage in the bedrooms for clothes. Both bedrooms are upstairs. One has direct access to the upper terrace (with hot tub) and is ensuite with a bath. The 2nd bedroom is spacious and although it is not ensuite it has a separate bathroom right beside it. There is also a third toilet on the ground floor. The whole villa is modern with a massive TV, electric shutters for the windows and a well-equipped kitchen. No problems with noise or neighbours. Really can't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for fantastic accommodation in the Algarve for two adult couples this place ticks all the boxes. You will not be disappointed.

    The villa is stunning and like an oasis of luxury in the suburbs of Alvor. It has loads of room and every facility you could wish for. Such a wonderful space to spend quality time with loved ones. We were not prepared for the incredible character of the villa, it’s interiors and the interior decoration. If you love mid-century vintage design, you will be in heaven! The host is super friendly, kind and helpful. We had such a fantastic stay we’re already talking about when we can return.

    Villas are lovely but very cold in the winter (especially as my living room heating would only work intermittently). Location is fab, beach was gorgeous. Staff really friendly and helpful. I'm sure they are perfect in the summer.

    Beach is a 2 minute walk from the villas. You have the use of two pools one at the villas and one at the hotel. Small supermarket is a 2 minute walk, and a 3 minute walk to bus stop. Beautiful 15 minute walk along the boardwalk at the beach will take you into Alvor center. And there are bars and restaurants 10 minutes walk from the hotel/villas, recommend Al Dente. There are a number of bar/restaurants along the beach. The villa was cleaned daily and the hotel/villa complex was clean and tidy.
