Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. Very nice, quiet house with pretty garden and hammock to chill in the shadow. Easy access from the motorway, easy parking. Has everything to enjoy a weekend stay. All appliances are in working order, coffee machine to start a day, internet with decent speed to enjoy streaming TV shows in the evening. House has a very good vibe to it, authentic feel with some vintage pieces in the interior. Despite few drawbacks mentioned below I won't hesitate staying here again or recommend it to a friend.

What's not to love about this place? A quiet retreat with nice, clean, comfy installations and great personnel. The owner of the Quinta, Mr Antonio, is so attentive and kind. He even gave me a lift back to Beja!

The location and convenience of the accommodation was great. Mariana and her husband, Nuno has done an incredible job of restoring an historic ruin into a truly beautiful retreat. They could also not have been more welcoming and helpful. Thank you for making this the most memorable stay on our road trip through Portugal. Hopefully we will be back one day 😎

The host Paulu greeted us outside, showed the parking area just around the corner and took our baggage to the room. Very helpful and friendly! He showed us the communal rooms, offered Easter sweets and his own brews to eat / drink as we wished, advised us on a restaurant for the evening meal and booked a table for us. The breakfast was truly a feast - freshly cooked and with an abundance of fresh fruit. The room was pleasant with an Arabian décor. Very clean. It was not a luxury hotel but was very homely and pleasant.
