This place is beautiful, cute colorful houses between green garden with nice pool. Even though it was close to the street it was very quiet in the area. All rooms had separate bathrooms, beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. I definitely recommend it for groups and couples who want to enjoy peace and quiet. There is a big parking lot to accommodate multiple cars. Location is good providing you have a rental car since public transportation is not available there.

Blue Ocean Villa is a brand-new home built into the side of the hill in Ponta da Sol. The view was amazing and the villa was spotless. The TV and Wifi worked great and the kitchen was somewhat stocked - we had to ask for salt/pepper and dishwasher/Laundry detergent but that won't be a problem for the next person and the host was very responsive and brought all sorts of stuff. It is comfortable for 4 people - we were a family of 4 with two teen boys. We had plenty of towels and dishes. The location was pretty good - there are a few little snack bars right next door (we didn't try them though) and we got most of our groceries at a gas station just a 5 minute drive down the hill. A car is definitely necessary here but you are in walking distance to a beautiful local church, great views, and two amazing levada hikes - Levada do Moinho and the one above, Levada da Novo (very dangerous and NOT for little kids though). There is a full BBQ and awesome seating outside though we didn't try the BBQ. Overall it was a great stay.

We stayed 1 week and were pleased. Levada Nova is out the back gate and down the stairs. Owners live next door. They cooked us beef skewers (on a stick) one night, which was a great treat. They also provided us with loads of fruit during out stay. Local cake and wine waiting for us upon arrival too. The place was as advertised and the treatment was a bonus. Smooth check in with the property manager Veronica (She was very nice too).

Breakfast offers a great choice too, there’s eggs fried and boiled, cakes and natas, vegetables, different bread and croissants, cereals and many more things!

The breakfast is very good & almost everyday something special from portugal or madeira is served. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back!

Very quiet tranquil location. The villa was fully equipped with everything you would need for a long holiday. The lounge area in particular was significantly better than the majority of equivalent villas. Would absolute love to return any time.

Ideal place to stay for hiking and driving around Madeira island. A very spacious and fresh apartment with super hosts. The place was even better than announced, super clean, well equipped with everything you need even for a long term stay. Local services (grocery store, restaurants, cafes, small shopping center) satisfy everyday needs.

From it’s hidden location in Madeiras sunniest spot, to its gracious staff, amazing common areas, and comfortable rooms. Staying here feels more like visiting a (very rich) friends seaside retreat than staying in a regular hotel, and that is just what we loved about it.
