We could feel the care in every detail in the apartment, the place was equipped literally with everything to make the guests' stay as comfortable as possible. There was an electricity issue in the area (caused by a storm, it was not the host's fault), so when we arrived, we had to wait 1 hour because the electrician guy was still doing the fixing. It was not a huge problem, but the host immediately offered to compensate us and we also received some gifts. This story also demonstrates how caring the host is.

Holiday House Rastoke Pod Lipom is a holiday home set in Slunj, 27 km from Plitvička Jezera. The property is situated next to a waterfall and boasts views of the rivers Korana and Slunjčica. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. Easy to find. Property provided parking pass. Property was clean and the beds were comfortable. Rastoke is such a cute village and we felt privileged to stay there. The house over the waterfall is so unique and quaint. The mother-in-law made us pancakes with jelly and they were delicious. It was a very kind gesture. I love how the locals do everything they can to keep the area preserved.

Spotlessly clean. Cosy yet very spacious. The wooden deck with hot tub was wonderful to come back to after spending the days exploring the area. Plenty of space for the kids to play football, etc. and a beautiful wood right next to the house for peace and tranquility and connecting with nature. Zeljka was an amazing host. So helpful and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. You definitely won't be disappointed!

A lovely warm welcome from our host with traditional plum liqueur and honey and a tour of the property. Loved the outdoor stone BBQ, hot tub and swimming in the nearby river. This property exceeded all our expectations and is conveniently located only a few kilometers away from the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park.
