Property is just amazing, everything was sparkling clean and well though-through. The smell in apartment was exceptional (specially I enjoyed the smell of shower gel, just like in luxury hotels). There's a dedicated workspace with the lamp and more than enough sockets. Owner Marco is careful to details, so he prepared everything that tourist might need in any situation.

The host was very informative of details about the villa so it was very easy to check in and find transports to get around and explore Como. The host was extremely friendly and was quick to answer any questions we had. The view from the villa is amazing plus its very quiet so we could relax in the evenings. The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable stay we had no issues with lack of facilities or cleanliness.

For any help, I received a fast response. Our host helped us with taxi needs. She even helped us get a last minute stay at one of her properties due to us having to cancel our other accommodation. We seemed to have everything we needed for our stay! (Just FYI, No dryer so need to hang clothes) We were within walking distance to the city center.

It was a beautiful apartment. Very Spacious ; Great location - Lecco being a much better place to stop if you want to get away from the overdone tourist spots of Belliago / Vareena. Wonderful facilities and excellent internet. So many extra things were provided in the apartment to make it extremely comfortable for any guest. Many books & information left in the apartment in at least 3 languages- very useful. Hosts were beautiful, kind helpful people. Gave me suggestions of where to hike & there are many to choose from...don't miss the hikes or views near the funicular. Train very quick & cheap to villages mentioned above. ( Also ferry & buses). Thank you Paola & Alberto. I would not hesitate to return. If I could give you 12/10 I would.

My family of 5 had plenty of space, the apartment had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The addition of the small balcony in Smaraldo was lovely. We loved the simple but stylish decor, all beautifully presented and clean and tidy. The working shutters were a lovely original feature and the garden was an added bonus. A 10 minute walk to the lake front which has been renovated and has lake access, plus an easy to use bus stop outside the property made the location perfect.
