Super friendly family hosting us. Very warm welcome, nice and calm location in the jungle. Sunrise is very nice to see from the balkony. The breakfast is delicious and more than you can finish. We had dinner once, which was also very tasty. Mosquito nets available. Its a nature cottage, with some minor always-open parts, so there might be some insects also inside. Don't confuse the very good rating with a 5* hotel. That's not what is being promoted :)

The cottage is in a beautiful, peaceful location very close if you want to walk to Ella Rock and only a 10- minute Tuktuk ride to Ella town, which the owner always arranged for us. Maduranga and his wife made us feel so welcome and also held the most amazing cooking class for us! When we hiked to Ella Rock for sunrise, they even prepared a packed breakfast for us ro take on the hike and refreshing smoothies for when we got back. The cottage is really spacious and has a very nice outside area to relax in. It was extremely clean and also had one of the best Wi-Fi connections we have had in Sri Lanka so far. Everything about this place was amazing and we would definitely stay there again!

Good location - not far from Little Adam's Peak and Nine Arches Bridge. Good air condition.
