I highly recommend staying here when going to Machico. The communication with the host is really easy and he is very quick to respond. The location is super nice, in the middle of a cute neighborhood. It's close to the beach (a few minutes walk) supermarkets, bus station and cafes/restaurants. We really felt at home here and would have loved to stay longer if possible. The house had everything we needed (there is even an oven!) and is really clean.

Breakfast was great too. Very welcoming.

Host was very kind to leave recommendations which we followed and weren't disappointed, especially the restaurants. People all around were very welcoming, prices cheap for the value. Really recommend!

We felt welcome in the Bordal house from the first minutes, Susana personally met us and showed around. There is a beautiful garden, swimming pool, vegetable garden, and banana palm trees. We enjoyed having dinners in the garden during our stay. Susana also gave us lot’s of great advice of activities around Funchal and the red of the island.
