The farm is a bit remote from the village, but that is also what makes it special. The surroundings are very peaceful. You will wake up in the morning only hearing birds! The room was spacious and clean. The road to access is well maintained.

Very nice place within walking distance of all trails in the village. The room in wooden materials was very comfy and relaxing (get a room with a window or balcony if you can. It's worth it) The lady managing was very nice.

The village in which it is nestled is an integral part of the hotel's charm. Supplies are basic and dated and the room not so big but still very clean with a charming view on Fenqihu valley. Staff is very kind and provides maps and very helpful tips on how to explore the surroundings. The hotel is right below train station at walking distance to all Fenqihu attractions.

Good value and in heart of village

The King Hotel is a hotel that must have been very luxurious a few years ago – and it is still very well maintained but not brand new. The staff is great and welcoming, the rooms are big enough and clean. The hotel was quiet during the night. The breakfast is great, with a lot of choices (fruits, salty and sweet meals). Moreover, the hotel is located 5 minutes from the train station and 10 from a night market. I highly recommend the hotel (and we actually came back to it later during our trip).

Location was within walkable distance to many tourist attractions near Chiayi city (e.g. 30 mins walk to Hinoki village). We also had a free upgrade to a Deluxe Double room. The room was really clean, neat and new. All the facilities and equipment were also pretty new/well-maintained.

Location is excellent. Near the Chaiyi train station, Wenhua Night Market, ZhongShan shopping street and many, many local mom& pop eateries. Walkable to Train Garden and Hinoki Village. Room is modern and clean.

The house is on the top of mountain with a great view. You can walk around the village or go walk in the florets (Bamboo tunnel or waterfall) so easy. The hosts was really friendly and warmed welcome.

Don't expect luxury. It's a motel, and probably best for 3 hour stays with the steam shower and bath. I knew that, so it was not unexpected. I like the location directly across from the Lantan Hiking Trails
