This suite is one of the perfect and pleasant one in all my trips to Greece. The place was very thoughtfully decorated with elegant decor and lighting style. It really like home, even though for one day. We wanted to prolong our stay at Philikon, Rethymno, however it was a short trip this time. Everything! The place is very modern and spacious, they also provided us with some food and drinks which we really appreciated, the breakfast was ordered everyday and delivered directly to our apartment! The view was also breathtaking especially in the evening.

This was one of the nicest hotel rooms that we've stayed in in a while. We were welcomed warmly by Despoina, our host, with a large tray of food and Greek specialty items, including two bottles of wine from the father's winery, and a traditional bottle of Raki, also made by the father. Plenty - even more than we needed - to keep us going for our 4 day visit. The balcony was our favorite part - food smells not a problem for us, as the view overcame any complaint we might have had (truthfully, we smelled frying fish only once). One night while sipping wine, we were regaled by an accordian player - well, he was playing for the diners below, but we got to enjoy him as well. We were sad to leave! The location was perfect - very close to the parking lot, and right in the middle of old town Rethymno.
