We left early for our flight so no free breakfast.
We walked up the street of local family suburb to eat at night as locals do and it was fun and good.

Las Hortensias is a delightful place to stay in Tababela.
Las Hortensias is a delightful place to stay in Tababela.
There is a small fast food cum basic restaurant just 50 metres down the road.
Also by the footbridge are two well run and more sophisticated restaurants.
One is very rustic, with a wide menu and serves grilled meats like local lamb , sausages and beef which are very tasty.
Views of the surrounding hills are very good and the weather mild and pleasant in early February.

Wonderful, secluded property to relax before or after a long flight. Close to Airport and can arrange pick ups.
Breakfast is included and made to order. Other meals are also available. Grounds are nice with lots of surrounding open spaces and mountains. Rooms are well appointed and bathroom is large. I had a very pleasant, peaceful experience.

I had checked intobtje upgrade with booking and could not seem to cancel it, phoned the hotel and explained my problem for no results. Could have been because of the language barrier. I liked the hotel but it is too much money for whst it offers.
This hotel has a very convenient location a couple miles from Quito airport. I arrived late at night for a 1-day layover, and had an early flight out the next day so it was a good choice given our flight timing because the city of Quito is pretty far and a 45-minute+ drive from the airport. It was pretty easy to get ubers to and from the city for a tour during the day. The breakfast is simple but fresh and tasty and served on a nice rooftop terrace. The room was simple but a good value for the price.
The most comfortable bed of my entire trip, beautiful hotel on large estate with tennis courts, great restaurant, they even have a cab waiting for me at 4:00 in the morning to go to the airport. Definitely either the first place of your arrival or the last place before you leave, and the price can't be beat anywhere. If you call them they'll have someone pick you up at the airport for $5, I didn't know this and paid a cab driver to take me there for $25.
We stayed here twice, once for one night before our trip to the Amazon, and then again after the Amazon and before the Galapogas. Its proximity to the airport is perfect for this kind of stop over stay. Large, clean, comfy rooms. Alpacas and a llama roaming around were a nice touch. Cheap, home cooked meals available for dinner. Nice grill a short walk from the hotel fro lunch. Airport transfer available for a fee.
Beautiful grounds and garden with hummingbirds flying around, nice room, clean bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast. We also got a good dinner for $8. There's a scenic hike along the river starting just from the hotel. Hotel organized a transfer to and from the airport for $10. All in all a great place to stay close to the airport between the flights.
A perfect stay the night before the Galapagos! Very comfortable king beds, dark rooms and amazing shower. Dinner in the restaurant waa great and the pool, steam room and sauna were all excellent. It is an expensive stay for an airport hotel but it is truly luxurious. Airport shuttle every 30 mins too, with a coffee stand for early morning flights, super handy.
They were able to accommodate a late check-in and early check-out. I appreciated that they set up and scheduled a taxi to pick us up early in the morning to go to the airport. The room was adequate for the price and included good amenities. I greatly appreciated that the hotel reception gave us a packed breakfast!! So unexpected but a wonderful touch.
No reason to go into Quito if that's not your ultimate destination. It's a 10 minute drive from the airport in small village. Hotel is simple and clean with friendly staff.
I've stayed here several times before. Early or late departures or arrivals aren't a problem. It's in a good sized walled compound with parking, grass and trees.
As welcome gift the hotel arranged pick up from airport for free, and also for a reasonable fee the shuttle back. Hotel staff very attentive, smiley and helpful. They demonstrated some flexibility when it came to alternative breakfast arrangements as we were living very early. We really like access to drinking water, thank you.
I only have the greatest things to say about this hotel. The owners organised a taxi for me for my late arrival. They greeted me incredibly. The room was amazing large with an awesome view of Cotopaxi. Amazing locally owned business. I was also given an amazing breakfast and the owner dropped me off at the airport right after.
This was the perfect location near the airport to stay for one night before heading to the Galapagos. The staff was very friendly and the hotel had a beautiful landscape. It was nice and relaxing.
This small hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and is good value for the money. Breakfast was good and you can order a meal from the kitchen or order in. Rooms are basic but clean.
