Beaulieu is at the exact centre of the "French Riviera" .
Beaulieu is at the exact centre of the "French Riviera" . It is flat and with a very good Bus and train service. We lived and worked nearb, and return regularly to see friends, Unfortunatly our normal choice of apartment was not available, but we knew of Les Oliviers, but not this disgusting apartment on the second floor.

You must understand first that my wife and I are retired. So we are looking for rest, relaxation, mental stimulation, sun, interesting things to see and do, good food, but on a limited budget.
We enjoy Beaulieu because much of what we are seeking while on holiday is available within walking distance in Beaulieu.
And the train service along the coast as far as Italy going east and beyond Cannes heading west provides easy accessibility to a wide variety of additional options when one tires of the beach and local amenities and wishes to stretch our physical and mental experiences a little further. For us, Beaulieu offers the ideal holiday location, a sophisticated French atmosphere, in a laid back casual untrendy town (or village?), where time seems slower, the sun seems warmer, the sea seems more inviting and the local food (and wine) stimulate our slightly jaded palates. No wonder we return!

It was easy to get around, lovely restaurant and a great Saturday market. Beaches are lovely but the sand i small pebbles. It is a very attractive place to go to not far from Monte Carlo and there i got public transport.

It's pretty, clean and safe and was easy to get to from the train station in Nice via Taxi. Our hotel was so wonderful (La Reserve) we spent most of our time at the heated pool and restaurants there at our hotel.

A good place for exploring along the length of the coast using excellent public transport - trains and busses. There is not need to have a car. It is possible to visit from Vingtimillie, Menton, Monaco then to St. Jean Cap Ferrat, Villefranche, Nice as far as Cannes all within no more than an hour.

Lovely walk down to the Port from our hotel for Dinner in lovely surroundings. African Queen was delicious for dinner. We didn’t go too expensive when choosing our meals but what we had was good. busy place and great atmosphere.
Walked to restaurant beside Casino with our Uncle for a Dam Blanche ice cream. Delicious. Walking around the town felt very safe. Friendly people who understood our pigeon French.
Had dinner in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat the following night after spending the day hopping on and off the train to Juan les Pin and Cannes.
Lovely trip to visit family and we will be back.

We had a very comfortable stay here. This apartment is located 1 minute from the train station. We took a train from Nice airport to Beaulieu-sur-Mer.( it’s took about 20 minutes, 3.5 euros per person)
We had trouble opening the code box. But it turned out well.
This house is near the railroad tracks so it gets noisy sometimes, but we never cared about it.
There is a bus stop just across the street The bus bound for Nice you can take #15(but please make sure your destination!!)
Room was smaller than thought, only one plug socket in room which was certainly not adequate for our needs as there needs to be at least two. Would like the room to be equipped with Tea/Coffee making facility, but did ask staff for kettle etc which was suppled to us. Excellent Location of Hotel as close to cafe's, restaurants, supermarket, train station and the Port.
Although it’s an older hotel, the apartment was spacious with a large terrace. The bathroom was huge! But the best part was the close proximity to everything we wanted to see and do. Easy to hop on the train and visit other towns on the Côté d’Azur. The internet was fast and reliable so we were able to work efficiently on the one rainy day.
The hotel gave us a twin room with a beautiful view of the port. The location was excellent. Walking distance to town with cafes and restaurants and a bus route to Monaco. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, it exceeded our expectations for a 3 star hotel. Thank you.
Great location to visit the area. Easy train journey to visit several nearby touristic locations. Central location to visit by car the Alpes Maritimes. Charming litle hotel deserving at least one more star. Very clean and done with taste. Lovely village and good restaurants/cafés.
The location was incredible just minutes walk from the train station. Awesome tree in the plaza right out side the door that actually helped with every taxi ride. The village was beautiful, restaurants incredible, it all way over delivered on the cost, excellent value.
We unfortunately only could stay one night but felt very comfortable in Hotel Carlton from the very first beginning. The staff is very kind and helpful.
The beach and the center of the village are in walking distance.
Breakfast was just 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
The hotel has small, yet comfortable rooms, very clean, and well organized, the staff is cooperative, the location is in a noticeably quiet area yet has a lot of restaurants around and very close to the train station
Clean, comfortable room. Close to the town centre, beach and marina.
Good communication when booking and helpful reception on arrival. Reasonably priced private parking spaces attached to the hotel.
The hotel is located in a very cozy and beautiful town between Nice and Monaco. Easily accessible in both directions by public transport. Very friendly staff. Clean room.
Service was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to help and nothing was a bother. We really enjoyed the hotel, the location to the village and train plus the pool.
