The location was ideal for our stay and all staff were helpful and friendly. We ate in the grill and this was good. Just what we needed. however, while the food at breakfast was ok the coffee can only be described as 'disgusting' the worst coffee machine in the world. Undrinkable.

Proper full English, plus many add ons and proper coffee to fill your boots if you wish. I thought it a bit odd that the lawns had gone wild. Signs say they are looking after the bees. Seems like a cost effective way to minimise grounds maintenance, but it works. Lots of oak trees and large range of birds feasting on the insects that you don't often see outside a hotel.9 Decent bar and menus. Plenty of seating areas to meet. Much better than I was expecting at a bargain price. All staff were excellent.

Location was good for where we was going to the theatre, breakfast was good been help yourself buffet of english breakfast. Shower was really powerful and good

Friendly very helpful staff. Car park next door was good. Spacious room ,very clean and excellent towels. The entertains rooms are gorgeous and the owners have kept the property in the period manner . Brilliant.

It was a last minute booking so I called prior to booking to check about the parking as we had a horse box, the lady physically went out and checked that there would be somewhere for us to park which was really kind... The rooms are basic but were perfect for our needs and the breakfast was surprisingly really good !
