We had an amazing stay in the Tiny house at Amalu! The house was beautifully decorated, modern, functional with a cosy feel. The attention to details was impeccable. The kitchen was stocked with some breakfast options and snacks. We enjoyed the spectacular sunset over the valley. Mayco was a great host, attentive to all our needs and quick to respond. My only regret our stay was too short. We would love to come back. Thank you Mayco for the unforgettable memories

We loved the quiet location but the road leading up to it is quite bumpy so you have to take it slow and it's very dark at night. The location is perfect if you want to be somewhere peaceful, close to the forest and not too far from town but not a good place if you want to be very easy walking distance to town (took me 30-40mins and tricky in the dark). The place was extremely clean and tidy and I loved being among the trees! The facilities are not luxurious but it was great for what I wanted :) would definitely go back!

She gave us her mobile number so that we could stay in contact and answered our questions promptly. Monteverde House is lovely and in a peaceful location with wonderful views. We even saw a Toucan from the property! The house is close to two parks for bird watching tours.

If you are prepared for insects, you won't be in for a nasty surprise. - The finca is close to the town center and everything is within walking distance. - The host would also organize tours for those who wish. - When it is windy, the rooms and the common room are very draughty and it gets slightly cold at night.
