Room decor very tired. Had no AC and therefore on warm nights the open window allowed gnats in.
Set in a residential area in Pornichet seaside resort, a 2-minute walk from the superb beach of Sainte-Marguerite, the hotel offers quality accommodation and a warm welcome.
Located in central Pornichet, only 300 metres from a sandy beach, Villa Flornoy features a heated, covered swimming pool set in a landscaped garden and an on-site restaurant.

The self-catering apartment was well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and the accommodation is also very close to the beach!

Ideally suited to visit Nantes, Vannes, Saint Nazaire.
Ideally suited to visit Nantes, Vannes, Saint Nazaire. The surrounding villages, nature reserves are well worth a visit. Terre De Sel (near Pradel/Guerande) is very interesting as are the towns of Batz-sur-Mer to Le Croisic along the peninsula.

Our holiday was based around golf and cycle rides, both of which are well catered for within the 50km surrounding Pornichet.
The current exchange rate doesn’t help with the cost of golf in France but the courses are top quality and generally not too busy.
Cycling is free and there are abundant free car parks at convenient places to start and end cycle tours and they often have free toilet facilities which are either self-cleaning or maintained daily. Many of the roads - even along the front through La Baule - have dedicated cycle lanes and the local drivers seem to treat them with respect. The coastal views are superb.
We used the local Intermarche supermarket which is well stocked and fairly close to where we were staying; the central fish market was excellent and the day open-air market was very popular.
Weekends are very busy but weekdays were fairly quiet in mid September.

The bay is beautiful.
The bay is beautiful. We recommend a visit to the fish stalls in the market hall, where you can sample before you buy! Everyone was really friendly and appreciated our attempts to communicate in French. We particularly enjoyed our sunset meal at 'La Signature' on a terrace by the beach with friendly and funny staff!

It’s a nice town but probably the only reason I would go is because my cousin lives there. The sea is nice and Pornichet is much quieter than La Baule which is the next town. La Baule is crazy with tourists in the summer.
Everything about Normandy hotel was amazing. Ran by a lovely woman and her family who were so attentive and welcoming. Even though there was a language barrier, they tried their best to communicate. Perfect location on a busy street with great restaurants and bars. The room was so clean and spacious and the breakfast was a must on the beautiful terrace. Really impressed and would recommend anyone going to Pornichet stay in this lovely hotel.
The staff are helpful, kind and friendly- went above and beyond!
The bar is well stocked, and the charcuterie and cheese boards are delicious!
The huge jacuzzi and sauna area is a wonderful value add.
The rooms are lovely and cleaned daily- superb!
There are gorgeous little shops, patisseries, market and more within a few meters. Beach is less than 5 minute walk.
Spent 10 days at the hotel and will definitely be back!
Other than the first evening we walked / or Taxi into the surrounding town for our meal as the evening meal selection in the hotel was limited to say the least.
Staff were excellent and the spa, facilities, treatments and facilities are great.
on site Parking is an extra cost, which could be better communicated when booking:
Private apartment on hotel complex with good facilities including pétanque, large pool, bar and restaurant. Cosy, well equipped apartment with comfortable beds and large sunny terrace. Near to very lovely beach and coastal walks. Wonderful host.
Perfect view, very clean and comfortable room, good facilities and decoration, good taste, very nice host/staff. Definitely, I will recommend this room/hotel to my friends, and hope I can come back with my family and friends during summer time.
we stayed over on a motorcycle tour heading south, the room was very clean, private parking for the bike, restaurant food was exceptional, and it’s ideally placed between La baule & Saint Nazaire,
Everything! It's an exceptional place and the view of the La Baule and Pornichet Bay is totally gorgeous 😍
The protected by glass veranda is a big plus as well as a great extension.
they took us in late after the Odalys hotel let us down completely. it’s clean, very pleasant, takes dogs, parking ok at this time of year. location great on the beach
