We spent two nights at The Horseshoe Inn and really enjoyed it. Room was really lovely, and the pub below was good fun. We had drinks and evening meals there both days. Great Jamaican food! Staff were friendly and welcoming.
They don’t serve breakfast but there’s plenty of options in Crickhowell (it’s a nice 15 minute walk in if the weather is fine).

An emerging center of excellence and on the cusp of becoming a important regional center. Close to UNESCO Blaenavon site and Brecon Beacon National Park.
Very easy place to get around and not so busy as it is away from main centers, however has the facilities to make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Ebbw Vale is only a few miles from the Brecon Beacons National Park so there is easy access if you want to go hiking, mountain biking, climbing, canoeing etc without having to pay higher accommodation prices in towns like Crickhowell, Abergavenny and Brecon etc. There is a Wetherspoons close to the B&B plus various takeaways and Morgan’s wine bar does home cooked food with vegan options.
It’s a little hidden gem if you want to stay in Ebbw Vale! It’s close to the centre but quiet enough away. It was really homely, beds were super comfy, room was warm and cosy and just had a great vibe! It’s not a fancy, overpriced chain hotel and I liked that. It feels comfortable and for the fantastic price it was just perfect! The couple running it were pleasant and parking right outside.
The hotel is great, the staff member who greeted us was very friendly. Fridge/freezer in the room along with kettle, plenty of tea/coffee available if wanted and Biscoff biscuits too!
Location was just across the bridge from town, walk to town centre was easily less than 10mins.
The bar is no longer in use, so no noise issues to worry about.
Everything was amazing, stuff, location, breakfast, hospitality. We were very happy to stay in Level Inn in Ebbw Vale. Silent atmosphere and cozy room. We had great opportunity to park our car on the hotel's parking. Also we were impressed and to thank hotel's stuff for supporting of Ukraine and solidarity with Ukrainians in hard time.
The hotel had just reopened under new management after being closed for two years. Thus not everything was in order, but the owners made up for it with lots of friendly assistance.
The friendly welcoming staff were amazing at 1.30am when we were stuck for some accommodation. Breakfast was exceptionally good and freshly cooked. A very reasonably priced hotel.
Location for our evening venue RTB Ebbw Vale Bowls Club, 4 minute walk, Ebbw Vale Town centre, less than 10 minutes and Ebbw Vale Rugby Club on the doorstep.
